today I failed to get out of bed before 1500, after waking up at 0900, purely because I couldn't think of a single thing I wanted to do. I spent an hour looking up events and classes and groups and stuff without really fixing this problem. I could do yoga, or bellydance, or 'bollywood' dance, or meditation, or maybe book groups but they meet every six weeks if they get around to it, or... well, that was about all I came up with, really. It's not a very inspirational list. And the dancing costs about £5 per hour long class once a week. I just need to meet people and do talking and possibly make friends. At the moment the only people who talk to me in 3D are paid to do so. Oooh! I think the dance classes sound like an excellent idea! Dance is so very 3D.

Since March 11 is my birthday, I always especially loved having a St Cripin's day speech of my very own. R.I.P. Mr. Nielsen. You might not have saved the world but you made us laugh. A lot. Hear, hear! And making us all laugh? Is pretty darn world-savey, IMHO. Heck, if more people did that, maybe the world wouldn't need so much saving, eh? That delightful goof was a testiment to the values of a Canadian acting education; Paul Gross wrote it, and Leslie Nielsen knew exactly where he was coming from. Julia, back from a veritable retail melee

He's awesome and funny and smart and nice and he's been on so many shows and I saw him on 20 bazillion panels at SDCC last summer and I fell completely enamored of him. So I had a wonderful party last night courtesy of Rich and Jason. They cooked a Dim Sum Dinner for me and baked me a mocha crunch birthday cake. Our friends came over and we had a wonderful night. Thank you Rich and Jason! Angelique! Happy Birthday! Glad you had a great party. How did the Firefly theme party go? What did you end up doing? It was pretty laid back. We had a couple of guests cancel. One of my other friends dressed as Wash and I wore my cunning hat that Jan made for me, We had Chinese Dim Sum and a chocolate mocha crunch cake (Which I think is what Simon would have had if they had something other than protein powder on Serenity). We watched Serenity and had a great time chatting away with each other. Afterwords Rich, Jason and I stayed up to toast Jan. Then we all collapsed into a heap and slept late on Sunday
