Since this episode was on television today: HOLLAND: And the Senior Partners have informed me that they are very, very pleased - with the work our division has been doing. Things have been progressing nicely - and ahead of schedule - I might add. HOLLAND: Now it's no secret that our work is but one small element in a much larger, greater plan. Ladies. . .. DARLA: I believe you said something about a massacre. Welcome to Part 1126 of the Soulful Spike Society Main Thread! We have been progressing nicely in our division of W&H, which you will see when you check out the nifty stuff we have on our website. Spoilers must be posted on Spoiled Souls, unless you use the handy, dandy ghost button (provided for you in the reply window) to hide them here. Failure to comply risks release of the Senior Partners' failsafe . You get the picture. ;D If you want to exercise some judicial lack of restraint about topics of the day or whatever interests you, we've got you covered in the Open Topics Thread. Just don't make me use my gavel. . .. You like shows about lawyers or the law? Or just love television and hunger to talk about it? Go feed your need in the I Love, Love, LOVE TV thread where we talk all about our favorite shows or just babble to ourselves about the wonders of entertainment on the box. If you are new, just want a refresher course, or want to avoid a massacre, you can review our statutes here: The Law. Remember, ignorance of the law is no excuse. Court is now in session. All rise. . .. ;D

From the last thread: Win! Win! Win! Win! (nobody ever called from HGTV to tell me I won their fancy ski house in Stowe, VT. ) I'm waiting for them to show up and turn over the key...I'll invite you to come to Vermont to visit me!

Another carry-over: Ugh. She's no fun! No fun at all!! I'll get her. I don't want to do again right away; I'll wait until she's off guard.

And, another: I'll get her. I don't want to do again right away; I'll wait until she's off guard. Don't wait too long--she might get bored with Castiel and change her ringtone. You never know! It could happen!

The final carry-over: So they painted over all the walls upstairs now. All of Vince's drawings are painted over. Oh, oh, oh. OK. I had picked out linoleum for the new bathroom and colors for the bathroom and bedroom walls . . . and they have done that! It looks nice, it really does. And I'm that much closer to my certification and fostering, so that is all good. When they are done, I am going to have some prints made of the larger and nicer drawings (I took a lot of pictures) and frame them and hang them back up where they were. I am doing OK. Went to a cooking class with my friend Sherri this evening, and that was very fun. Hang in there like you have been. I love the idea of having prints made of the photos you took. My dad did a very ornate drawing (some day I'll get the scanner fixed and post it-sigh, another story) that we made some copies of and gave to one of my aunts. She had it framed and it hangs in her house. Gives me the warm fuzzies every time I think about it. Dad did some amazing artwork. I would love to share it with the board. Have you shared any of Vince's with us and I've missed it being off trying to get a life back?

Woops! I lied. This is the last one: I'll get her. I don't want to do again right away; I'll wait until she's off guard. Don't wait too long--she might get bored with Castiel and change her ringtone. You never know! It could happen! *snortle* Uh huh. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure. ;D

The pics from Vince's bedroom walls are here: I hadn't seen them. Thanks for sharing them with me today. Vince had a great eye for symmetry and design, and it looks like he drew with passion. I think whichever you choose to have framed would make great additions to your home.

Grrrr. A minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things, but still annoying: Second class, same teacher. This time, the supply list called for a doll head mold (for polymer clay), $20. I, being a nasty suspicious person, didn't buy one. Besides, I have a collection of doll faces I bought for art dolls, so I thought I'd wait and see if one of those would do. Sure enough, Lesson 2 rolled in, and there was no mention of the doll face. So this time, I waited for someone else to ask. Teacher replies, "Oh, the doll face mold is for another class, I'm teaching that in a few months and you should all sign up (and pay for it ) then. The doll head should not have been on this supply list." Yeah, ya think? Good thing I didn't buy that $20 mold. I'm trying to decide if she's running a bait-and-switch, or if she's just a feckless ninny. I'll be kind, and go with ninny, but this does seem to happen with her classes... Also, she doesn't proofread. I'd better get moving, laundry to sort, tea to make, cats to feed, daughter to drive to art class with her Great Big Drawing Pad, errands to run on the way home... Anne, trying very, very hard to keep from saying something... snarky on the class forum
