Mycroft: Just once, can you two behave like grown-ups? John: We solve crimes. I blog about it, and he forgets his pants. I wouldn't hold out too much hope.

Happy Birthday, Dianne. I watched "The Prom" on Logo tonight, and came away thinking "I love that song...I don't love that cover" which sent me looking for "the original" which, after a couple of dry holes on the Stones videos made me realize that my brain meant this cover, which actually came out six months before the Stones released their version:
(Gram Parsons, Flying Burrito Brothers)
Julia, some things just get better with time
Mr Word, Mrs Word, all the little Words, their goldfish Word and their great-aunt Florence Corthingale (maiden name: Word) heartily agree with you.
Is it possible that Diane's name is re-formatting the board a bit? Making the left side with the avatars wider than usual and thereby compressing the right side.
It's not a big deal I'm just looking for an explanation for the re-format.
"Yes, well, I, uh, I appreciate your thoughts on the matter, I, in fact I... well, I encourage you to, to always, uh, challenge me, uh, when you feel it's appropriate. You should never be cowed by authority. Except, of course, in this instance, when I am clearly right and you are clearly wrong."

I got BOILD*. No, that's a good thing.
The morning did not start auspiciously, as last night Kitty had what I think was another spontaneous panic attack (sweaty, trembling, said she felt like there was a weight in her chest), at around 10:30. I got her breathing the way the doctor showed us, and once she was calmed down, gave her half a tylenol PM and told her that she didn't have to go to sleep, it was Friday and she could read until she felt ready to sleep, then sleep in.
Then I spent the rest of the night half awake, worrying and waiting for a knock on the bedroom door, until Patches started inquiring about breakfast at 5AM. Kitty was fine by morning, but I advised her to take things easy and not worry about her homework.
So, I drove to Thousand Oaks, to visit Bestest Buddy. The Husband rode shotgun on the way out, then he went to a movie while D and I drove to Ojai for lunch and wandering the shops.
Paul drove us home, during which we had the interesting privilege of being caught by not one, but two CHP traffic breaks, on two different freeways. It was interesting the first time; the second, mostly annoying, particularly as some of the drivers kept trying to get past the CHP officer who was weaving across six lanes, trying to slow the traffic down before we all reached the accident (two firetrucks, one paramedic's truck and a somewhat squashed Jeep station wagon).
But on the whole, it was a pretty nice day.

ETA: After thinking about it, I think it was another panic attack - like the first time, she had an intense week (including a presentation in Poli Sci and a major drawing assignment), and I think the stress caught up to her.
But Kitty is feeling better this evening; so much so, in fact, that she decided to start watching BtVS again. She's starting over from the beginning. She's a happy little geek, especially after I, in going through a box of stuff I'd had packed away for some years, found my toy Dalek and presented it to her.
