Anne, my get up and go has left the building. Possibly the planet.

Hee! It must be bunnies! Good Easter Monday! I hope everyone had a lovely Easter. It was a beautiful weekend, and now we are back to rain. Last month we hung a couple of bird feeders outside the window on the redbud tree here at the office. It is nice to have a bit of nature to perk us up on dreary days like this. P.S. The new Doctor Who season premiere kicked some serious ass! Loved it!

Nice, very appropriate. We have acquired an opossum. Possibly out of the neighbor's giant tree that fell over? But now it wants to live under our back room addition, entering via digging under the aluminum flashing that attaches the AC unit to the house. 20 years ago an opossum died under there and Jim had to crawl under and locate the decaying carcass (horrid, horrid smell). Sadly, we are both headed out of town and can't deal with it at the moment. That crawl space actually has a lot of issues dealing with ventilation and dampness that MUST be dealt with as soon as I get back into town.

Headed to Chicago early tomorrow morning. You probably won't hear much from me for the next 2 weeks.

Hmmm...I read about a natural deterrent for moles and such the other day. If I can remember, I'll pass it along. Maybe Osage Oranges?

God or at least Jupiter Pluvius does not like me: as per the standard, the only day I have someone to do the heavy lifting on the chicken coop is the day it rains and rains and rains.
Julia, also my nose is running again.

Sometimes staying with my SIL in Bensenville (just west of O'Hare), sometimes with the kids downtown. Massages on Friday with Carolyn. Haircut on Monday with Barb. We want to drive up toward Kenosha one day and look for a summer vacation rental. But let me know when you are available and maybe we can pick a where. I'll IM you my cell phone #.

Please let it work on chipmunks so I can see how often Karen makes Sue caddy for her. And do her dishes. And vacuum. Etc.

Misha has tweeted a floor plan of the community center the Random Acts is building in Jacmel, Haiti. I am gobsmacked and humbled by how big this project really is. For those interested (especially those who donated to the charity for it): Hope 2 Haiti Community CenterWe're still needing as many donations as we can get for it, so if anyone's interested in donating: Random Acts Hope 2 Haiti ProjectThis is one of those moments where I'm proud to call myself a fan. Look at how many lives are being changed! So exciting.

I taped Supernatural on Friday and it made me laugh out loud a bit with their cultural references.

I have things I must do, but unfortunately I'm waiting for a phone call from the bull guy.
I hate the telephone.
Julia, also, there's pollen out there!

Tornado warnings, excessive rain over Tuesday and Wed, flooding watches.
Ah dear, and of course, we both have to fly in the next 3 days. Plus on Thurs when Jim and Carolyn both fly into D.C. that's when the front hits there. (They are meeting for coffee and bagel in Terminal 3!)
I guess by then we will know what Allie has decided.
She has been stressed out beyond belief because it looks like IJM is going to offer her a real position and now she's not sure she can handle it or wants it but doesn't want to disappoint anyone.
Ah, growing up == it can be tough.
