You know, I was sure I'd said something this morning. Antihistamines are making me deeply, deeply stupid and the grass I cut in May is up and blooming again, which helps nothing. Is anyone watching Teen Wolf? What about Lost Girl? I wish there was some SF which wasn't either apocalyptic or horror-influenced: I'm hoping Alphas is going to be good this season, although when they killed off CKR I lost interest. Julia, where are the Treks of yesteryear? I'm watching Lost Girl but mostly becasue Bob likes it. I'm kind of meh because the stories are a little hard tofollow.

Today's my graduation day... Congratulations! Have some roses; not the roses I meant to send, since photobucket is not accepting my jpegs this morning, but nice ones, I think (just not very Erin-ish; the others were bright red and backlit). Julia, at the point of distrusting the entire month of July.

Thank you guys, for the congrats, for balloons and flowers. Julia: the roses are lovely, even if they weren't the ones you intended!

Gorgeous flowers, Julia. Dear God, the weather! The rain looked like it was flying by sideways a minute ago - thunder, lightening, wind, rain, flickering lights. Please, let the power stay on. If I'm not here for Project Runway tomorrow, you'll know what happened.

Worst seems over . . . and some tree branches are down, and some garbage cans have blown into the street (Wed is pickup day), but my power is still on. I know power is down in some other areas in the county. This has been a crazy, crazy, summer. I wonder what the wind speed was out there. My yard looks horrible. It's been either way too hot, or way to wet, to mow. I have to find a time to do it, though.

I might have watched it except for falling into a strange habit of watching three episodes in a row of Cold Case every Friday; the procedural bit is OK but their use of music is addictive. Julia, having et lunch and needing to scrape together the energy to go do more outside work whether I want to or not.

Hey - who's gonna be watching Project Runway tomorrow? Who wants to share design ideas and opinions and what not?

Upsetting news, but I thought some of you would want to know: S'cubie Cal posted on Facebook that her much anticipated grandson was stillborn today. Very sad. She has gotten many comments and condolensces. Oh how very sad!! I am not on Facebook, but anyone who is can certainly pass along my condolences to her.

ARGH. How long has it been since I posted? Bright blue sunnuvabitch few days starting with the massive thunderstorm Friday afternoon/evening and I'm both in serious joint pain in every bendy bit and still massively behind on essentially every bit of my real-world maintanence. Y'all seen this? Julia, oh, goody: more thundershowers overnight and the clouds just cleared so we can steam-bake for a while. Monnie and I were bitching bemoaning the fact that, of course this was the year we didn't go to ComicCon. I would soooooooo have loved to be there!
