I need a new hairstyle so bad. I too have been cutting my own bangs, so I'm really interested to see what he does with her really long hair and bangs.

OK, let's use this nice looking but plainly attired "everyday" lady: Excellent! OK, she's a blonde, so maybe icy blues and silvers, or do we want to go firey? Reds and oranges? She's wearing red already, so maybe go with that, since she likes it? Swirling skirt with stripes and a lovely flowiness, or shall we go with slim lines, all slinky and sexy? Well, I'm limited by her stance - I mean, I have to find dresses that fit it, but I think I have found something. It is more on the slinky sexy line. I'll put it up soon - it needs work.

OK, so she needs more work, but as you can see, she has been partially glamorized:

Ken IS a total dick. What the hell is problem? Seriously? He obviously did not learn a thing when he was in the sandbox in Kindergarten.

Runway time!
Justin - Kind of plain, but I do really really like the signature element. It's the only interesting thing about the dress, really. Still - it's a cool element.
Bradon - Very nice. Pretty, sexy, sophisticated. Just the right touch of sparkle.
Alexander - Hmmm. Nice enough, but you can tell it is only a partial garment. The peplum/flounce just doesn't work for me. Too sloppy looking.
Dom - Seems a bit pedestrian, but pretty enough. Also, the dress should have been sufficient. No need for the jacket thing, I'm thinking.
Kate - Interesting concept, but not executed the best. I see some very cool elements, but the top is awkward in spots.
Ken - Actually, I like the green (unlike what Ken thinks) and the idea is a cool one - with the swirling bands of dark winding around her. But it's not cut/fit that well on her and it needed more .... coolness, I guess? More of an edge? Her hair is awesome!
Alexandria - Hmmmm. A bit dull. Skirt is a pretty fabric, and jacket is OK, but it's just .... well, dullish.
Helen - OMG, this is perfect! Elegant and sexy and she loves it, you can tell. Hair is super cool!

OK, so she needs more work, but as you can see, she has been partially glamorized: Excellent!! Color and sparkle and bling!! Brava!! Toss a tiara in her hair, some diamonds on her arms/hands, and put her in some killer shoes - maybe with spikes or black leather boots - and we're done, dude!

You know, if you watch the news you might get depressed and think that everyone is crazy or ugly-minded. But that is such a tiny, tiny (and totally unrepresentative) sample of what is happening in the world. 2 good news items for you today: 1. The winner of American's Got Talent (and really guys the final 12 acts were very talented and very entertaining). This is a show, of course, where the American Public votes. So like DWTS or other voter dependent shows there are voting cliques of course. But the final winner was Kenichi Ebina (http://www.nj.com/entertainment/tv/index.ssf/2013/09/americas_got_talent_2013_winner_announced.html). He's not even an American citizen but he IS in the US legally, working here on a visa and is allowed to compete under the AGT rules. Thing is, people didn't (in general, obviously there were people out there who protested) but the majority of people who voted didn't care that his wife was in Japan and English clearly isn't his first language and he is a tiny Japanese guy. They watched, decided he was most talented and voted for him. He got the largest number of votes from the people watching AGT. I am pleased with the American public. 2. And then see this article in the Huffington Post (it's short). The "Lynn" mentioned as their physician's assistant is my youngest sister! www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/16/i-lost-weight-justin-lauren-shelton_n_3719785.htmlAnd then they appear on the Today Show and during the video about them they show a picture of LYnn!!1 (right around the 1:20 min mark) www.today.com/klgandhoda/husband-wife-lose-more-500-pounds-8C11167399

Ken IS a total dick. What the hell is problem? Seriously? He obviously did not learn a thing when he was in the sandbox in Kindergarten. You can tell Tim Gunn was just totally over his shit, and generally Tim seems to find something nice to say...
