Who/what are you gazing at, and having such a reaction? Oh no, that was the sigh of frustration and the thud of exhaustion. I knew that (yes, infer the the tone of superiority), but since Spring's mind automatically assumed that some shirtless hunk was involved .... really, one of these days going to figure out (and take time to) post picture of shirtless hunk. we have far too shirtless hunk pictures nowadays.

Allie and Andrew were here over the weekend (the sage of getting here after SW flights cancelled on Friday night AND again on Saturday morning is too long to type. But that's what will kill me in the end: I will either die while on the phone with Comcast in the process of trying to change plane reservations as both send my blood pressure through the roof. Huh. I'm going to put my money on Comcast, for giving you that final seizure.
I recently had to talk to Time Warner, because my internet and cable were both completely out. The guy kept trying to ask about my wireless, wondering if it might be my router. My router, really? When the cable is out, too? It was like he wasn't listening at all.
The Last Ship sounds interesting to me, too.
Hugs to you, Sue.
Of course, there were several typos in my original post but I clearly left out an "or": die while on the phone with Comcast [or] changing plane reservations ----- however, getting on the phone to Comcast in order to change plane reservations --- yeah, if the 2 were combined it would absolutely be lethal. support to Liz kudos to Anne and Diane for hobby-ing (although, I'm pretty sure for Diane at this point it is more a "lifestyle choice" than hobby and congrats to Spring on the imminent extension of her super-parenting to additional young people: you make the world a better place.

Agreed. Shirtless hunk would have helped a lot yesterday. Yes, all work related. details are mostly patient related, so I can't share. Also I fucked up on something (logistically) and got rightfully scolded for it. Today was better but still exhausting. I was afraid to call a specialist for a consult (some one I didn't really know that well) but he turned out to be really cool and a great teacher. Also, Irish accent. Just counting down the days till the end of the year...

So, it seems that James Marsters will be joining the cast of Witches of East End (it's on Lifetime, I think? and season 2 starts in July). Also joining the cast is Bianca Lawson who played Kendra.
And ASH is currently on "Dominion" on the Syfy channel but .... something really weird is going on with his voice (accent?). It actually sounds like it is dubbed. I mean, I would recognize Giles' voice with my eyes closed and he sounded like himself on Merlin as well. On this show he is supposed to be an American from the SW so maybe that's what he is trying to do but .... not well and he just winds up sounding really odd.

Vanderbilt made it to the finals of the College World Series -- first time ever. 10 innings, 4.5 hours, winning run driven in by a substitute 3rd baseman making his 3rd ever start after the regular guy got suspended for some NCAA violation.
Monday night, ESPN. If you need a palette cleanser from soccer.

Just got done with the Slayage conference last night! Got to present on Cabin in the Woods AND Dollhouse, and I have to say that the people there reminded me so much of us S'cubies: supportive, unashamed to geek out over Whedonness, smart, sassy. I wish I could have taken you all with me!

If I do say so myself, it's hard to beat the depth of reviewing/analysis we have done here at the S3, on the shows we have tackled. I think I speak for us all when I say: We are proud of you.

Thanks for the heads up about James; hopefully I can catch a peek at it.
Rachael mentioned on Facebook that she though ASH's accent wasn't quite right . . . I only saw a quick clip of Dominion, and his accent was OK in it, but he only said a few words.
It sent me looking on Youtube, though, for those old Taster's Choice commercials, where ASH played an American guy, romancing an English woman, with Taster's Choice. His accent sounded fine then, though I agree that it just doesn't "sound like him," when he's doing an American accent. At that point, I did not know ASH was British . . . in fact, when I saw him on Buffy, it took me awhile to place him as the "Taster's Choice guy." Then I looked him up to see if he was American or British.

Thank you, sweetie. And yes, we are rather brilliant overall, if I do say so myself.
