Do any of the other LJ savvy folks around here happen to know if Green is still about and writing fic? The address I have for her LJ no longer works and I always liked reading her stuff. Lola P.S. Also, at www.livejournal.com/community/btvs_slash/on 12/12, someone called el_blanks77 was asking if anyone knew the name of a fic, and I do, but that journal is locked against anonymous posting. So if one of you LJers would want to post it, the answer is: "Healing" by Jameschick - who's stuff is here: www.geocities.com/kiwileesa2000/jameschickWhew. Glad to get that off my chest. Yeah, that fic was located for the seeker, who also posted at Bloodclaim. Green is now Xanphibian, and her journal is friends locked; that happened right after Writercon. She's not currently writing anything, as far as I can tell. She's mentioned often in other people's journals, and greatly missed, from all evidence. Julia, now the house is warm but I can't take a shower because someone has to be here in case the new computer comes

A PG Giles/Oz Christmas fic by Glossing, funny and touching, with an appearance by an oddly dressed Andrew and rather too much of many things: www.livejournal.com/users/glossing/141531.html?#cutid1Julia, for the "Drunken Giles Ficathon", which is proving much more productive than the "Gay Marriage Ficathon" in terms of quality

NWHepcat's contribution to the Drunken Giles Ficathon, mostly notable for being a Xander/Giles slash from a writer who rarely writes slash (although who has, of late, including a X/We that Cara and I were discussing back a few pages). www.livejournal.com/users/nwhepcat/362233.html?#cutid1Julia, nice, don't get me wrong, but not world shaking

BUSY day; this is from Connie/riani1, which, if memory serves, is one or perhaps both of Two Ladies of Quality, which means a lot; Spander, post NFA, PG, PG 13 if you think any mention of hint of slash needs that rating. Mention of Giles/Ethan, Buffy/Immortal, and the end of Willow/Kennedy. Lots of Andrew, too. This follows her great post NFA fic "From Hell's Gate..." www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=riani1&keyword=Afterwards&filter=allNow also at Buffy Fiction Archive: archive.shriftweb.org/archive/30/afterwards.htmlJulia, still sleep deprived but finally remembering I need to do this

This is me reccommending another tag fic- sort of- sort of because I believe it's a cowritten completed work being posted in serial form until New Years. Reremouse and Tabaqui, Xander is a night crew foreman on a project to level the Sunnydale crater and turn it into a safe piece of "Valuable Southern California real estate", August of 2004. Spike is... well, just find out. "No More Snakes and Ladders" www.livejournal.com/community/snakes_ladders/Julia, also other stuff I should have up some time tomorrow. Actually, this is now a continuing cooperative fiction, updated at 8pm EST, Mondays. It is worth the time the long chapters take! Starting February 28, 2005 this has gone to biweekly posting; the good thing about that is that the authors will be writing more of their solo stuff. We most sincerely hope and trust.

Tabaqui, again, an entirely different take on the end of BtVS s4 from the pluperfect "Dogs of War" but very very good in its way, "Xander Doesn't" NC-17, Xander doesn't know why things happen the way they do: www.livejournal.com/users/tabaqui/49812.html?view=1201044Julia, must go pay a credit card bill and buy food for a Lacto-ovo-fishotarian dinner

Adding my eetah to this reccomendation. So far a fine example of . . . . um. Not gonna say more about the type of story, so as not to spoil it. But it's good. And, thus far, very quickly updated. I had misnamed this fic, and made a trivial spelling error, and when I modified it, it vanished. Glimmergirl, Giles/Wesley, post NFA, PG unless you are of the opinion that any mention of the vague possibility of gay sex is at least PG-13 and men kissing is automatically R, "High Tea": www.livejournal.com/users/glimmergirl/739627.html#cutid1Julia, this is the second time the vanishing thing has happened in this thread, and now I need to be sure the other one isn't "Dogs of War"

From a Xander/Lindsey NC-17 fic written for Rubywisp, for a donation to tsunami relief: "Define 'all right'. Is it that feeling you get right before eating an entire ice cream cake and listening to every Johnny Cash song ever recorded? Because if so, this is as good as it gets."
"There's floweriness?" Xander was flummoxed. Moxful of flum."One Night" www.drizzle.com/~eliade/charity_stories.html#2 Julia, bow down before her, for she also includes the phrase "orgasm fairy"

Moxful of flum."One Night" www.drizzle.com/~eliade/charity_stories.html#2 Julia, bow down before her, for she also includes the phrase "orgasm fairy" Very very nice indeed. I am so glad she joined the ranks of writers doing this fic for charity thing. Because it is an excellently good idea, for one. (I certainly chose my end of year donations with an eye toward those organizations who will be helping in the areas affected by the Tsunami.) But also, selfishly because one of the next stories will likely be one that hits absolutely all my buttons, in a very good way, if one goes by the requests on this post: www.livejournal.com/users/eliade/294088.html 'Cuz I very cleverly spotted Flaming Muse's request for something from the portal hopping-Conan the barbarian-Spike as slave-verse. And that would be the best thing evah! Lola Not to mention her rec of an absolutely wonderful Jeeves and Wooster slash fic that is just too perfect for words!! www.livejournal.com/users/eliade/294873.html

But she's writing, which is great, because if she kicks out 10% of her words in Jossverse stuff, I'm 100% happy. Julia, having spent much of the day self-indulgently reading f locked fics

Benefit fic from Witling, else Wiseacres, Spander Apocafic, NC-17, I guess. Punishingly good, as is all of her work, but I am just not into being punished twice: www.livejournal.com/users/witling/107833.html?#cutid1Julia, needing happy bouncy reunion fic without egregious quotation marks
