There's no information about whether this fic is linked in the writer's memories, and rather than try to get all five parts properly linked I'm going to cop out and give y'all a link to his LJ; he writes very few entries lately which are not this fic, and the small extra effort on your part (he's good about cutting stuff, so the scrolling happens fast) is very much worth it. "Subcontractor," Veronica Mars and AtS s5 crossover. Cordelia Chase contacts the Mars Agency to keep track of some folks in Cleveland, Bath, Rome and Africa... www.livejournal.com/users/ffutures/Julia, really. Read it. Good stuff. He's also posting it at the-crypt (Marcus Rowland). I wondered if it should be rec'd on the VM fanfic thread, but had decided to wait and see. He writes all sorts of crossover fics. Unfortunately, several seem to be longstanding unfinished WIPs.

When you (or anyone who cares to) get a chance, don't forget to put the rec for the complete fic in the appropriate thread.

When you (or anyone who cares to) get a chance, don't forget to put the rec for the complete fic in the appropriate thread. I just came here to post the update. This needs to be said: this is a slash fic that Speaker recommends. This may be the best Spike shanshu fic ever written; this may be the best post-Africa Xander fic. It's an amazing piece of writing on every level, and if there's one long fic everyone should read, this is it. Julia, feel like having a wake, or a graduation party, or something.

Last night, Barb Cummings posted the completed Chapter 10 of her excellent Parliament of Monsters. It's at the Crypt, which I know some of us have had trouble with accessing (though I haven't). If you care to brave the wilds, it's here: www.the-crypt.net/I'll see if she has it on her site yet. Yup: sleepingjaguars.com/buffy/bufindex800x600.htmGo to stories in the panels at the left, then novels. You'll see it listed. Then choose the chapter.

Just because you live in the same house grumble. Julia, and now I don't have time to comment, anyway, since I've got people yelling at me that they're finally ready to leave
