More evidence my brain is 100% on vacation... Stop that! You're writing, I'm not. Which of us is therefore the more brain-dead? At least I can do this, which is of some use, I hope.

I missed posting the link to the story Camisha wrote me on my birthday, and am feeling pretty seriously deficient in manners, among other things. Julia, a veritable festival of self-immolation

I was working. And, also, saving this for a reward after I finished. So, then, I suppose I'm bound by honor to say that "Savage Beauty" in all it's glorious irrationality, has been updated: www.livejournal.com/users/speakr2customrs/87178.htmlJulia, what I get for being virtuous, I guess.

My grief at the end of "Irony" is being ameliorated by the fact that Mireille719 has just posted another chapter of the sweet, rambling, and entirely adorable "Sleep While I Drive" X/G, post BtVS s4: www.livejournal.com/users/mireille719/958464.html?mode=replyJulia, it's a proven fact I can't write and eat dinner at the same time...

The BratQueen has updated "Protocol," the Wes-married-to-Lord Angel fantasy. In this Part 42, they're having a ball...but Angel wishes he were elsewhere. It's here.

Sharelle's "Out of Joint" has updated with Chapter 9, part 1. This is the tale in which post-Destiny Spike has changed places with his BtVS S2 counterpart and is trying to save the world, against hostility and suspicion from the Scoobies. Meanwhile, back in the present, Wesley warns Angel that Angel's only way of derailing an apocopalypse may be killing "past" Spike. All the story to date is here.

Two Ladies of Quality has added a new chapter, 45, to Nessuno, the superb tale of Spike, Angelus, and Xander in the Rome of the Borgia popes. The sort-of romance is Spander, as yet unconsummated. In this part, Spike (Guglielmo) and Xander (Alessandro) meet after a lapse of years. The meeting is bittersweet to Guglielmo; we don't yet know what it is to Sandro. The whole story is here.
