This chapter went up sometime last night while I was squeezing out words for "Rose;""Water Hold me Down". Liz Marcs supurb way-Post-Chosen Xander fic. The title of this chapter is "Spock with a Beard" which should be all the clue you need to the nature of Xanders' predicament: www.livejournal.com/users/liz_marcs/108883.htmlJulia, lovely story, with great characterizations

Yeah, extra slash at the end did it; your link goes to the appropriate journal page, mine now goes to the cut text of the story. Life is rich and full and this is my week to not understand computers. Julia, reality, it is not my friend.

OK, here's the deal: this author has changed her lj name, and I'm not going to refer to her by her old name excpt to say she's a very well regarded Spander writer, whose post NFA AU "Survival Instincs" is one of the better pieces of the genre, and who also was a co-author with Reremouse of the human AU "In from the Cold." Capische? Anyway, she has updated one of her current WIP's "There's Your Trouble." a much more humorous Xander alternate reality swap story than Liz Marc's "Water Hold Me Down" with which it has nothing in common except the parallel uinverse thing: www.livejournal.com/users/savoytruffle/44146.html?#cutid1Julia, see how the other half lives

This came up yesterday, and I zipped right past it; hot weather and no sleep does not make me smarter. Speaker to Customers, "Sunnydale Passions" and really, what can one say except it makes "Savage Beauty" seem reasonable by comparison; this is a compilation of all the character bashing stereotypes in fanfiction: www.livejournal.com/users/speakr2customrs/87941.html?#cutid1Julia, and at the moment I think Buffy's still having an affair with Adam

Nasty Shrew, "Three Quid Whore"- long time since she's updated this S/X human AU "Spike's in a rock band and Xander gets pulled in to the life" story, which is NC-17 and not, by any measure, a happy little pornish romp: www.livejournal.com/users/nasty_shrew/37269.htmlJulia, Xander's reading Trainspotting to try to understand

I am out run.
Deserve it for going to the grocery store, I suppose!
Julia, off my game, no doubt

Also, the penultimate chapter of Crazydiamondsue's "Sunday Morning Coming Down" has posted. This is S/X, set in the summer of Buffy's death, and has been forever since its last update; well, April 27, anyway, for the Yinathon. www.livejournal.com/users/crazydiamondsue/89684.htmlJulia, rejoice!
