Vlad or Diane or anyone who actually talks to members of Patti's family: Is there any chance at all that anyone from the family would like a written copy of some of the posts made here?
I could (or maybe several of us could split up the pages) go through the 3 threads to date and copy some of the more appropriate postings and mail them?
Just a thought.

Karen - I had the same thoughts you did about writing JM.
Spring - the flowers are beautiful, I would love to contribute.
Has anyone contacted or heard from Alexandra?
Hi Matthew, think of you lots.

My husband and I went to dinner tonight and on the way back I started telling him about Buffy and the class protector episode and how Patti got the Board Protector award in Nashville.
I've thought about that a lot.

Alexandra does know; I heard from her in the IMs. I'll send you an IM here in a minute with info to contribute.

Thanks, Spring.
I've read all the posts since last Mon. but haven't been able to say much.
I've lost my parents, my favorite grandmother, 2 brothers, and my best friend. For some reason this has hit hard. I'm still trying to figure it out.
I can barely tell my husband anything about this without getting upset.
Love to everyone.

I literally couldn't tell anyone all day Tuesday. My throat kept closing up. Just cuddle with him, maybe, and wait 'til later for the words. Love right back at ya.

I think that would be really nice. Like their own smaller copy of our running "memorial book".

Hi all.
I got the news through the Great Grapevine today.
Have been slogging through the messages from the very beginning of Part 1.
Have cried.
Have headache.
Have not been able to make my way through part 2 yet.
Too tired.
I met Patti at the very beginning. I used to banter with Miss Pamela and remember when Patti came in and introduced herself as a friend of MissP's. She just jumped into the board (I don't think it was "Spike's Pants" but it surely wasn't long thereafter) with both feet. and yes, the Patti-itis was present then too.
Patti was the one who came up to the plate when Vlad needed help putting all the logistics for this board together. Little did I know that my little post about "We need someplace to go when SccopMe croaks!" would spawn such a reply from the likes of Vlad and Patti and then of course came Rae and Dave (Hi Dave!) and the many others who have contributed over the years to keep this board afloat.
But Patti was there at the beginning.
I keep thinking...
Usually when I stick my head in to say "Hi all!" Patti is there to raise a cry of joy at my return. I always felt like a prodigal child, and not a lapsed member when I dropped in.
The S'cubie board just won't be the same...
Love you all.
Well those of you I know of course *snark*. The rest of you, well I guess that if Patti liked you all, you must be alright too...
Micha the Watergal. Who'll sign of with Kitty Smiles, because Patti would have liked it that way...

Okay, I know I read somewhere that someone was thinking perhaps we should/could write to JM and let him know -- just because Patti was such a fan and he always seemed to react well to her.
I checked the "official" website and the contact information (including an email address to JM's agent) is here:
www.james-marsters.com/james/contact.html
The home page also features the sketch by Matthew's mother (? -- I think it's your mother -- it's been a long time since I've been around, so I've forgotten a lot.)
Hope this makes it easier for whoever it was that wanted to write. Me, right now, I couldn't begin to think of what to say.

I have thought about this myself. I sorta figured at some point in the coming week or two that I would sorta group and collect the posts in the thread(s) and print them out and mail them to her brother. I can not think of a finer tribute to her and a way for him to admire her all over again, than by showing him the words of all those that loved her so much in teh last couple years. To know that someone was this special to so many people is the best thing you can share at all. Vlad
