Hmmm, I've heard McDonald's was expanding their menu -- sounds like I need to start visiting there again .... When you eat the Fellatio Fish, try not to dwell too much on the special sauce.

Kerrie, I wanted to say how much on the mark, yet how hilarious, I found your whole analogy between Buffy's life and a house. Excellent insight, and done in white-heat under what must have been the most adverse of conditions. So not only congratulations but a purple heart for good functioning under fire.
David, your still lifes with nudes are both preposterous and disconcerting. Also, of course, jaw-droppingly funny. Why do people other than me have such interesting jobs?
Thank you both for sharing.

Usually, in the fantasy sequence, the tip includes more than just the visual. But the visual was more than enough for me ....

That's not what we've been led to believe Dave. Ok, well at that moment it was enough. I was too stunned to do much else. It's been a long, long time since I've seen a naked woman in all three glorious dimensions. A long, long time.

Well, with that story, you may encourage a lot of the unemployed males in the world to start checking out Pizza Hut delivery as a temporary option.

I'm in school, too, working on an MLS so I know whereof you speak. At least you get feedback: I have my semester grades from this past spring but have yet to receive specific grades or comments on an article critique. Which wouldn't be annoying except that I'm going to have to do a progress review portfolio next semester and discuss the feedback I've been given on my assignments. Hard to do without the feedback! It does sound kind-of tricky, but surely you would just improvise (i.e. address the comments that you thought your markers should have given you. "This is brilliant!" "Well-said!" (I'm being facetious. Sorry. I know, form personal experience how hard it is to work without adequate feedback. You have my sympathy.)). (Note to Nan, did you like the parentheses inside existing parentheses? Stroke of __________. ) Becky, forgive my ignorance but what does MLS stand for?

Revisionism. Editing. Both words and I've done them to my post of last night regarding "Riley: 2 thoughts" on page 2. If anyone is unhappy that I have revised my post they can post or instant message me to change it back. I kept the original just in case.

Whew! So glad to see there were only 3 pages of posts waiting for me this morning - not 33! David - I think you've got a story for Playboy. "I never thought this could happen to me....One day, while delivering pizzas,....." This story is practically begging to be submitted! Oh, and thanks for the shout-out over on ScoopMe about my song. It warms my little heart to know that people actually like my song! Kerrie et al. who responded to mine and Sue's post - thanks! I'm glad we're not the only ones with that concern! Becky H. - good luck with your classes! You'll do great! [/move] Alright, must go work. Deposition that was supposed to be on Friday has been rescheduled for tomorrow. I swear, if he cancels it AGAIN....well, I don't want to say what I'll do. I'll let your imaginations run wild! -L

I think MLS stands for a Master of Library Science degree.
Nan's right: an MLS is a Master of Library Science degree although my program likes to call it Library and Information Management - go figure. I do already have a Master of Arts in Teaching in French but foreign language not being supported in tight budget times, I'm switching my eggs to another basket. Incidentally, if I've been paying accurate attention, I think Lori and Alexandra K. are already full-fledged librarians. Anyone else out there? And do I need to mention that I love Giles?

Hi All, I'm currently working on help "snippets" for the board. So, check back soon for the unveiling. (It will be the "General Board Help & FAQ" thread that you can see now.) Proboards said our help link should have been fixed yesterday. However, it still isn't working. I think they just haven't updated all of the actual "links". In the meantime, I snuck a peek at another site using Proboards and found us a help link that will work. So, for the time being, feel free to use it: proboards8.com/help/. ~rae

Most of the post Chosen fanfic I'm finding has Spike coming back human. In fact, I'm trying to think of one which doesn't.
Before the show ended I had a theory which involved Spike giving up his soul to save Buffy/the world. I thought a non-souled, non-chipped, but "humanized by his experiences but not restricted by the soul" Spike might be interesting. Now, however, that seems like it would be a very cruel joke and poor reward for his sacrifice--to bring him back as a vampire, but no soul.
Other than human, or vampire with a soul, what other options have been discussed? Some sort of "higher being"--PTB, Oracle, Whistler-type??
I'm trying to decide whether 'tis better to remain unspoiled (if that is even going to be possible--I'm guessing lots of publicity in the fall) or to enjoy the speculations over the next 3 months.
Remember all the brou-ha-ha over Dawn and her "gang of Scrappies"? They lasted exactly one episode.
