Ok. If I type this, will it be read by the masses? Hope so. Let's find out. Well, it will be read by those who dare read the late night posts...

Hey! How come I only get one star and you, Dave, get four? Is that like a restaurant or hotel rating? Four stars is superior and one star is rat-infested? Just trying to instigate something on the board tonight!

Yes, that's the one. Good movie. Lots of mindless action, which is what I like. My friends tell me I am not normal. This is probably true. Betsy, you are as normal as me, which actually isn't too encouraging for you. I love action movies. Was Seth good in this? Was his role significant? I've seen the previews but you can't really tell.

I think I'm starting to understand this board now. But I pressed the colors box and I don't think it took. I did get the smileys to work though! Yay, me!!

His role wasn't as huge as the Marky Mark and Charlize chick, but he did have some funny bits in there. He made for good comic relief. I think you'll like him in it.

Hey! How come I only get one star and you, Dave, get four? Is that like a restaurant or hotel rating? Four stars is superior and one star is rat-infested? Just trying to instigate something on the board tonight! The stars are generally related to a person's posting habits -- the more you post, the more stars you get, up to four stars. Vlad, Rae, myself and William the Bloody (who's really Vlad, too, but we humor him) are all board moderators -- the people with the power. So we get an additional star, for a total of five, to help us stand out when new people join the board. We're the police for the board, and while S'cubie city is mostly a peace-loving board, should someone not play by our rules -- mutual respect for others, which includes not only being nice about Spike loving but also keeping spoilers limited to the spoiler board -- we're the ones who have the ability to edit or delete posts, and if we have real troublemakers popping in, we also have the power to ban (which hopefully I'll never have the chance to see how well it works). That's why I have more stars.

I just looked over at my name and saw that it had been changed to "Junior Scubie" with two stars instead of one! That is HYSTERICAL!!!

I thought you did that as a joke. Anyway, it was very funny at the time. I promise you'll never have to ban this Junior Scoob!

Ok, guys. My cat is howling at me--he is so demanding--and it's 1:30a.m. and I ran one and a half miles today, and I am exhausted. I need to sleep before I drop at this computer. I think I understand how this board works now, so I'll be posting more often. Who knows? Maybe I'll get my promotion to three star scubie soon! Nighty night, all.

I think I'm starting to understand this board now. But I pressed the colors box and I don't think it took. I did get the smileys to work though! Yay, me!! Those buttons do take a bit of getting used to -- what you do is before you type, press one of the buttons, like the color or italics, etc. A set of codes will pop up, usually with the word TEXT in the middle -- replace TEXT with whatever you want italicized, colored red, etc. Anything you want to NOT be italicized, colored red, etc., place outside the code blocks. Remember -- they don't insert spaces between words, so you'll want to put in the spaces before and after the word you italicize, color red, etc. After you've played around, if you want to see how it will look before you put it out for God and everybody to gawk at, choose the PREVIEW button instead of the POST button; then if you like what you see, you'll get another POST button to post it, or if you don't like it, you'll also have another area to edit it and another PREVIEW button to see your changes.

Well, I've finished whacking out the first part of the new novelette, Enemy of My Enemy (hereafter EME or Enemy) and sent it out to those who volunteered to be beta readers on the first one.
New readers are welcome, and I'm putting a notice to that effect on the main board.
Finally got enough sleep and got something done! [/color]
