I enjoy reading the banter but I'm afraid that I can't take the time to scan through all the posts because a lot of it is just banter (especially when y'all have late night posting parties). Like Sue, I'm afraid I'm going to miss a post like Kerrie's or other posts that bring up discussion (Buffy/Xander pairing, etc.) but I just don't have the time to go through all the pages. So, I join Sue in asking people who post something they would like to be discussed to either repost the comments or reference it in a post (i.e. "see post 282 in Part 3 about my thoughts on Riley"). I know I'm missing out on some funny stuff from these late night parties but, unfortunately, I just don't have the time to read and scan through. -L I second Lee and Sue. It'll be easier when ScoopMe is gone and I won't have two boards to check but still.. I was in class (with no access to computers-argh) all weekend and was stunned when I logged on. Did some spot reading and luckily I stumbled onto Kerrie's wonderful "Buffy as a House" post (wasn't that a Kevin Kline movie?) but I could just as easily have missed it. So please, Global Moderators maybe, highlight the good stuff. That said, Kerrie, what essays did you get back? Are you working on a degree? (Did I miss that somewhere?) And in the States, a longneck is simply a beer bottle with an extended neck - I think I like your version better. But that's only if you'll tell us if you're hungover today...

A long-neck is a bottle of beer with a long neck here too. My Cocktail recipe book had the other version. And yes I am hung-over this morning. Not too bad, but I think it will get worse as the day progresses. Regarding my studies you didn't miss anything - I had not told people that I was studying. I am doing a Bachelor of Education (secondary school). I can barely remember the essay topics but I think they were on motivation and basic skills testing (state-wide standardised testing). I'm glad you liked the 'castle' analogy. It is one of my favourite 'thoughts' and if I had not been drinking I certainly would not have shared. It is reasonably private, because a bit more whimsical than most of my thoughts. Thanks for your support. Thanks also to Sandy, Patti, Lee, Sue and Nan (pre-emptive I know ) for taking the time to read it. I have to go back (on another line) to get feedback regarding one of my essays. I am feeling so bad that any negative feedback will not affect me (yesterday I was just brave enough to get the mark - what a lion-heart! ).

I'm in school, too, working on an MLS so I know whereof you speak. At least you get feedback: I have my semester grades from this past spring but have yet to receive specific grades or comments on an article critique. Which wouldn't be annoying except that I'm going to have to do a progress review portfolio next semester and discuss the feedback I've been given on my assignments. Hard to do without the feedback!

Hey, where is everybody? The board says that three of us are online...yet I can't find anybody who has posted anything lately. Are you guys hiding from me? Color me confused. At least on Scoop Me I could find everyone!

Yeah, it worked!! Saw the movie The Italian Job today. I think Jason Statham is a major hottie. And he's a real Brit, too! If you saw him in The Transporter, you'd know what I mean. That movie is possibly the BEST MOVIE EVER. Did you see it?

Oh, please share your story! I need a good story now. Falling asleep here! Is it a full moon tonight or what? Seems tonight must have been greet-the-pizza-guy-in-your-birthday-suit night and no one told me. I delivered pizzas to two people tonight who answered the door completely stark naked. And I thought that sort of thing only happens in the movies! Okay, one was a little boy who couldn't have been more than four or five -- his house had one of those storm doors that's completely glass and the regular door open, so when I rang the doorbell, he comes running to greet me, Willy swinging in the wind (well, as much as a four-year-old Willie can swing, that is). That was the just plum cute one; the other was the really fun one. I had a pizza delivery to a cheap motel on the highway. A guy answers the door, late teens maybe early 20s, wearing just a pair of jeans. No biggie. But as I making change, I catch a glimpse of movement in the room behind him, and lo' and behold, his girlfriend is standing there folding what looks like a towel, and wearing nothing but a smile -- facing me full-frontal, too, clearly aware she's visible from where I'm standing! And I could definitely understand what he saw in her -- she was stacked. It was all I could do to keep my composure and make the change while trying not to act like I was affected by it all. Then as I'm leaving she comes running out the door waving and yelling "Bye" at me, still stark-raving nude! I was flustered for a while after that; after all, it's been a year since my last date. I thought scenes like that only happen in the movies.

First he works with Alyson Hannigan, and now Charlize Theron. The man leads a hard life indeed.

;D That's too funny, Dave!! My friend, Cindy, used to work at McDonald's and she would tell me about the crazy customers they would get. My favorite story is the one where a guy ordered a Fellatio Fish at the drive thru. HeeHee That always brings a smile to my face!!

Good movie. Lots of mindless action, which is what I like. My friends tell me I am not normal. This is probably true.
