All caught up. Phew. Considering what I just sorted through, I now feel really sorry for all of you, because I don't have to read any of my posts, and I know there are a lot of them.
Maybe I should be sympathetic and scale back? Naahhhh..... ;D

Oh, those are funny. I could also add Idiot Jed, Droopy, and one I will always like, courtesy of Angelus: Buffy's White Knight. In fact...that might be the one I go with. No commitments, though. Still waffling. I like that one, Rob. that fits you.

and you can only have one season of Buffy with you. Which season do you pick?
As much as I recognize the mastery, artistry, writing, plot development etc of Season 2, I've got to go with Season 5 (now showing on FX).

Had some inspiration due to all the post in the last thread. (Vlad if you want to use this on the front page of the website you can). I used the same background color you have on the site so it will (should) blend real nicely. You can copy it from here or if you want I can send it in an email to you if you want to use it. Here is it so you all can view. Betsy, your billboard is VERY imaginative, and the result surely looks good. I confess, though, that I'm partial to the sweetness of expression in the pic below, that I put up on the pics thread awhile ago.

When I get behind on posts, I sign on and want to pick up at page 25, but the only choices I am offered are: 1,...35,36,37. Is there any way to get to page 25 besides just backing up from page 35?

As much as I recognize the mastery, artistry, writing, plot development etc of Season 2, I've got to go with Season 5 (now showing on FX). That's a tough one. Seasons 2 and 3 present two of the best overall story arcs. And Season 3 contains Doppelgangland, one of my favorite episodes, especially because it's two Willows, no waiting. But although the overall season wasn't one of the best for Season 4, to me it contains some of the best episodes -- Beer Bad, Something Blue, Hush, Pangs, Superstar, the Oz-Veruca arc, New Moon Rising, This Year's Girl/Who Are You and Restless. BTW, Joss more or less said the same thing in the overview of S4 on the DVD -- he could understand why people didn't think it was the best season because the episodes didn't gel together as well as they have other seasons, but it does contain what he feels are some of the all-time best Buffy episodes, and I agree with him. So for me, it would be Season 4.

Not to mention "butt monkey." Wow Rob. There are so many possibilities! I usually identify with Buffy, so what does that mean for me? Any ideas? There's 1) A stuck-up tight ass with no sense of fun 2) Joan 3) Ungrateful bitch 4) "B" 5) The Ice Queen 6) A hell of a woman Hmmm. I'd better stick with what I got. This is fun... how about...'The one girl in all the world, yada yada yada yada...' I know I have seen a website that actually listed all the names the different characters have been called...anyone remember which site that is?

Sue I don't think there is a way other than inching your way back. Good news is, if you click on the 35, you get new options, so it isn't 35, 34, 33 .... you have to go through, it's at least 35, 33, 31 .... And for me that's fine because it usually takes me a while to figure out where the heck it was I left off.

Does anyone know where I can get dialogue from Angel. What I'm looking for is from Season 1 when Spike comes to LA for the Ring of Amara. It's the opening scene where he's watching Angel save a damsel and he's playing out the scene with dialogue.

The Buffy Dialogue Database has a section on the characters called "Also Known As" and goes into excruciating detail about every nickname or insult someone uses to refer to someone other than calling them by their given name. Here's the link: vrya.net/bdb/index.php

"No need, little lady. Your tears of gratitude are enough for me. You see, I was once a bad-ass vampire. But love, and a pesky curse, defanged me. And now, I'm just a big fluffy puppy with bad teeth. No! Not the hair! Never the hair." "But there must be some way I can show my appreciation." "No, helping those in need's my job. And working up a load of sexual tension and prancing away like a magnificent poof is truly thanks enough." "I understand. I have a nephew who's gay, so..." "Say no more. Evil's still afoot. And I'm almost out of that Nancy-boy hair gel I like so much. Quickly! To the Angel-mobile! Away!"

It's a real tough choice, but I'd have to go with Season 6, myself. After Life (and Spike at the foot of the stairs); Once More With Feeling; Tabula Rasa; Dead Things; Smashed; and then the final trio/quartet of episodes, plus the powerful adult and powerfully insightful content, makes this the most memorable for me, the one whose episodes bear numberless rewatchings.
