Deborah, since part 6 is now locked, I don't know if you still CAN delete or not. But please don't, even if you can. I agree with you that some highly emotional and irrational arguments are not worth responding to. I feel that way myself, and I think it's worth saying.
You said it well. Leave it there.
LATER: At first I remembered this as Diane's, and said it that way. I've checked, and it was Deborah's. Moreover, it seems as once a thread is locked, you can't delete (at least my own posts didn't offer me that option anymore) so the whole thing becomes moot and leaves me looking like an idiot, not for the first time (sigh).

Too bad the only profound statement I have to make is: Good night all! Off to see Anya! Will see you all tomorrow!

Everybody, I just started a new thread for links and resources (as opposed to fanfic recommendations, websites and so forth).
Later: No problem after all modifying it. If others have useful websites, do chip in to the general knowledge base.

Nan - are you talking about a post by Diane, or the one on the Buzz article from Deborah? Mary It was Deborah's long post from near the end of the #6 thread. I've corrected my earlier post on this thread to reflect that. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Mary. All these "D" people seem to confuzzle me.

Nan, thanks for the compliment on the picture. I'm a "science and technology" girl but I'm not too magically inclined. As such, I'd say Fred is the one person I most resemble in the Buffyverse. Though I liked the quote I pulled from her, I'm still looking for a better one. (So, extra thanks for the new Resources/Links thread where you listed the URL to the Buffy Quote DB that I couldn't find earlier! ) However, I chose the picture because I was feeling very "Fred" today. I'm not sure if it was more alone-in-my-room-scribbling-on-the-wall-talking-to-myself or explaining-the-situation-with-stick-figure-cuecards but I was certainly identifying with her today and not my Powerstone Rouge (the cartoon/video game girl I usually have).

Vlad said: Rae, and Dave both have enough posts to qualify however they arre moderators and that supercedes the titlesAhhh, I think I only have enough posts because of all the "playing" I did when we were just testing out the board and all of the "organizing" I did last week. HOWEVER! I do wish Dave and I had a "cooler" title. Ahh, the burdens of being a moderator. I'd suggest an alternate but I'm not feeling all that creative. I'm still sulking over Lee's new title... Damn her! I want to be Marsters' S'cubie. No, really, I do want to be James' or, to be more accurate, I want him to be mine. Vlad ALSO said... Actually, i do believe that Rae and Dave can also change titles.. if so, then it won't matter as much *eyes twinkling* What? How? What? I'm sorry, did I hear my name? Sneaky Vlad... And here I thought you had to bite me for me to gain any of your powers. Or develop powers of my own, anyway.

Everybody, I just started a new thread for links and resources (as opposed to fanfic recommendations, websites and so forth).
However, Vlad, when I wanted to go back into it to modify it, there was no modification button I could hit. I think there should have been, so I'll look at it later and see if I find one. I recall I started another thread awhile back and WAS able to delete that first post and presumably could modify it as well. Only if that doesn't work will I come whining to you for help.
Hey Nan, When you get a moment, can you look again and see if you still don't have the "modify" button? I can see it as a moderator so I'm not sure why it wouldn't show for you. Maybe the system just had a hiccup when you were trying before. Thanks , Rae

Too bad the only profound statement I have to make is: Good night all! Off to see Anya! Will see you all tomorrow! Hope the little one is thriving! Is the poem underneath the photo by Maya Angelou? I seem to remember her reading it on OPRAH, which I watch a few times a year. (Not a Maya Angelou, but I've always admired Oprah)

Not only is the photo lovely, it comes through magnificently, not one bit blurry. Where did you get it? Sorry if you've already answered. Gail

Maybe the system just had a hiccup when you were trying before. Thanks , Rae Rae, it must have been just a temporary glitch. I just went back to that new thread and was able to add 2 more items (by modifying the original post) so it works fine. Thanks for checking up on it, though.

Joshua, I see you are here with me! We're kind of alone...wanna do something subversive like eat all the pizza put out for the Grand Opening in thread #6? There are also many, many kegs of beer.
Always glad to see you showing up!

Vlad I'm nowhere near the posting total for Marster S'cubie but I am the Founder and President of the Von Helsing Institute for the Study of Nosferology, home of Ebulgence and the innovative Vampires in the Mist program that earned Spring her first restraining order. We have some scary ladies on our faculty. So, if I get to pick a title I would like to be: Founder and President of the Von Helsing Institute for the Study of Nosferology and Wicked Scary Babe Extroidinaire. Is that too much?
