Yeah at 11 she's already 2 inches taller than me... Actually Patti, if it will make you feel better, she's 12. 13 in September.

Also Hi, Rob. (being subtle here)
Hey! I'm not THAT bad.

Hey, Did we ever get a definitive answer on the plural of apocolypse? Was it apocopli? Didn't Holden know? Help, my brain is fried and I can't remember... I jsut keep seeing HTML code...and it's bad code at that! Vlad No, Holden knew that the plural of nemesis was nemeses. I think the plural of apocolypse is 'ends of the worlds'...

Glad to see you for a bit. Glad you are enjoying your time with your daughter. But GOD, we've missed you ! ! ! ! Awww ... you know, it's so nice to be missed by so many sexy ladies (ok, the guys too). Damn, how I wish you guys lived closer. Then I could really give you something to miss. Or not.....

Don't count on it. I remember prophecies of being tall made when I was 11 or 12. I was 5'4". I grew to a giant 5'6"! I just dwarf my 6' husband! I don't know. I'm 5'10" so I'm pretty sure she's gonna keep going for a while.

Also Hi, Rob. (being subtle here)
Wish I could be here more. Work, work, work. But, exciting news, our countyhas an invasion of rabid vampire bats. Really, no kidding. Did you know you could get rabies if an infected bat sneezes on you? First budget cuts, now rabid bats. If we're really lucky we'll get bats with SARS.

I got rid of them. They are currently eating chocolate and watching Harry Potter, which they love. They are back. . .I knew it wouldn't last longer but I am an optimist. I could tell a rude story at this point about perserverence, but I will be polite.

We spent the day at the National Zoo yesterday. If you ever visit Washington, that's easily the best zoo I've ever been to. And the admission was free. It's run by the Smithsonian, if that tells you anything.
Anyhow, we saw the pandas and the gorillas and baby elephants and giraffes. Only one zebra though. Alas, no heimlich with stripes. No evil hyenas, either, at least that we found. But there were parts of the zoo we never made it to, so the evil hyenas might have been in a different section.

I too remember the Weather Girls. Too bad they were a one-hit wonder. Yes they were, but that's one of my fav songs. Whenever I play it, I just turn the volume way up.
