Hey Mary, We are meeting at what EG describes as her favorite craptacular resaurant in the Rogers Park Edgewater neighborhood. For mutual scheduling necessities and preferences it will be an early breakfast, 7:30. Sue needs to return to her family by mid-morning and EG and I will be going onto our respective work-places (but I'm going in late so that I can get as much S'cubie time as possible. Anyone else who is willing and able to join us on this momentus and all too rare occasion of a face to face S'cubie get together is welcome and encouraged to come. Just send me an IM for details.

Wasn't sure of the town, thanks eg. I reckon that's on the "edge" of some water, on the north edge of Chicago? Sandy, Edgewater is just the name of the neighborhood. It is on the far North side of Chicago.

I just checked the members list....I knew I hold the un-enviable position of postest with the mostest, but here, to make of it what you will, are the Ten Mouthiest Members of the Soulful Spike Society (as of 5 minutes ago) 10. Anne D - 355 9. Deborah - 388 8. Mary - 414 7. Raksha - 418 6. Nan - 597 5. Rae - 633 4. Lee H. - 6503. Betsy L. - 795 2. Dave - 1072 (holding steady, and gone a month...) and the mouthiest S'cubie - 1. Patti - 1488 (and this makes 1489) and keep in mind I've also been Daltoning...I MUST get a life! On my list for tomorrow...life getting. I'm #4?! Seriously?! Dang, I didn't think I had procrastinated THAT much.

I'm over at All About Spike and noticed that the fan fic me and Nan talked about this morning, Ever After has been updated and Chapter three has been added. I know there was one other here who had read the story today. I started reading it during lunch. Enjoyed the 2nd chapter more than the first. Thanks, I'll be leaving work very shortly and won't be able to get back on line 'till after evening chores are done...you know, pick up kids, feed kids, bathe kids...

You managed to capture Spike's entire arc in relatively few words full of pathos and and a little injection of comic relief at the end.

I'm #4?! Seriously?! Dang, I didn't think I had procrastinated THAT much. I must procrastinate a lot as I'm #3 ;D I know I procrasinate a lot at home as I always get sidetracked with the computer and being online and playing instead of doing my chores Guess I do the same at work too.

Shannon, thanks for the lovely, detailed feedback on EME over at AllAboutSpike...AND the huge plug for Vampire Sex! (the essay, not the activity) Very gratifying!!
Later: Some way, your comment duplicated, Shannon. Laura, the webmaster, has been kind enough to delete the duplicate at my request.

Hi - does anyone know the name of the instrumental theme used whenever Buffy and Angel are together? It's not "Full of Grace," it's something else. Who wrote it and do you know if it's on a CD somewhere?
Thanks, Lori

Who wrote it and do you know if it's on a CD somewhere? Thanks, Lori Lori, it's called "Close Your Eyes (Buffy/Angel Love Theme) and it's by Christopher Beck. It's the final track on Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Album which was put out in 1999. Of course, anytime you'd like to hear it you can simply turn on RadioBuffy and it will be pulling on your hearstrings before you know it. They play it like, a bizzillion times a day. Along with the Hush music. And far too much Riley talk. Hey, Radiobuffy- A little less out of Riley please and step up the Spike.

Lee H, you've already made the fix this post originally indicated. However, I'll still mention that if anybody is using Netscape (as I do), putting the start-move command closest to the text renders it completely invisible, whereas if you put it closest to the margin, i.e., first thing in the command string, it starts at the right margin and crawls left; and if the end-move command is the second in the end string, it prevents it from starting in the middle of the page. Evidently for people using IE, your instructions work fine, so I'm just saying..... Nit picker that I am (but NOT a VIRGO! NONONONONONONONO!) Incidentally, I made these changes in your quote, above, and now I can see the crawl. Before, it was invisible to me unless I switched to quote mode. And for me, using Netscape, the words just sit there... Pout. Oh well, at least I can read them.
