Well Rae, thank you for posting the Hollywood Square pictures of JM in my favorite sweater of his from that show. I LOVED the way he looked in that sweater but the only reason I didn't single out those pics is that all the screen captures from H.Squares, not just yours but the ones posted previously too, came out slightly blurred. I guess that's just a given with screen captures because it's also true of the ones I've seen from Chance, both on our board as well as on other web sites. BetsyL: Credit where credit's due. Thanks so much for the beautiful pics of beatiful JM in that beautiful cream sweater. That sweater looks like a British army sweater except in cream rather than army green. I love the design. Thanks again. Most screen captures (of videos) I've seen are blurry as well. In my case it was because the video was blurry on my screen so makes sense my screen capture is just as blurry. That could have been due to the resolution/size I was viewing the video at but a lot of times it has to do with the overall quality of the ivideo. It's hard to get a great quality on videos available online... the size gets to be ridiculous for a tiny section of video.

Lee: Josh sounds like a real sweetheart. I'm so happy for you! Sounds like your evening was right out of a romantic comedy. Rae: Your bottom of the post quote is really good. Wow! I've squished ants and sprayed Simple Green until I can stand no more. I'm running away from home... Maybe when I get back, they'll have given up and gone away. Anyone know where I can rent an anteater? Thanks Anne I found it last night in the book I'm reading. She was using it to describe fear of heights, etc. but I knew it was perfect for BtVS. Plus, it's actually appropriate for a current situation in my life. Good luck on the ants... they are pesky things and they drive me bonkers. I had them in my office a few weeks ago until the pest man came and shooed them into the office next door (yeah, the guys were really thankful, let me tell you!).

Last night's attempt at cooking for Josh was.....well, not necessarily a disaster (it really could be considered one but I'm trying to stay positive) but I don't think it could be considered one of my Top 5 dinners. I left work and was rushing home because Josh was going to come over about 6:30pm or so. I had hoped to have the chicken baking and the side dishes cooking - I was aiming to eat a little after 7pm. Guess what time I got home? 6:30pm! Traffic was a flippersmackin' nightmare!! I had called Josh and told him I was running late and asked if he could maybe get there about 7pm. When I got home, I ran into my place and started throwing the meal together. I had just put the chicken in the oven when Josh arrived. We talked while I was chopping vegetables and getting the rest of the meal together. So far, everything was going pretty smoothly (well, besides the whole running late fiasco). Chicken was baking, side dishes were cooking, salad was chilling in the fridge.....things were rocking right along. Now comes the fun part. Josh and I get, um, distracted on the couch for a while when all of a sudden we notice this burning smell. Anyone wanna take a guess what was burning? I'll give you a hint....it rhymes with micken. Oh yeah, that's right - the chicken was freakin' burning! I open the oven door and smoke comes billowing out - the chicken was so burnt! Of course, I get all upset and start saying some not-so-nice things and Josh tries to calm me down. I was so mad because I was trying to make a nice meal for him and I flippersmackin' ruined it! Long story short - we ended up ordering some Chinese and watched some of The Bachelor. Once the smell of buring chicken dissipated, it was a pleasant evening. I know I said I wasn't a wonderful cook but I swear I'm normally not that bad! I told him that come hell or high water, I WILL make him a nice, delicious, not-burnt, dinner. I think we're going to try again next week. If I burn something again, I flippersmackin' quit! LOL. Yeah, but you gotta love those distractions.

Actually Betsy posted the cream colored sweater pics I just posted more screen captures from Hollywood Squares. And, I thank her as well. If only there were room inside that sweater for me as well ('cept I fear I'd find Spring and Patti in there too). Really? You'd try to fit into JM's sweater with him, but you fear you'd find me in there as well? I'm surprised Rae, after all the time we spent together writing that RoundRobin, that you don't know be better than that. I would be in his pants, not his sweater.

This is the reason I think alarm clocks are evil. I am fairly certain I broke my middle toe this morning when I tried to turn mine off. It has nothing to do with me being clumsy and banging my foot on my bed, it was all the clocks doing Lee- Other than the chicken being burnt, it sounds like you had a nice evening. Anne- every April we get an invasion of ants in our kitchen. They just seem to eventually go away on their own after a couple of weeks. Do you have this problem alot? Betsy- I agree with everyone else. Yummy, yummy pictures! Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISSBUFFY!!!!

Whatever was I thinking. Scratch that, I obviously wasn't thinking at all. There's no way you'd pass up the opportunity to get into his pants. *grins*

Good story Lee. It doesn't sound like it was just the chicken getting overheated though. I was talking to my mom this morning and she asked how last night went. When I told her the chicken turned out to be more like Cajun chicken, she asked, "Why did it burn? Did you turn the oven too high? Why weren't you paying attention to it?" At first I wasn't going to tell her why I was distracted. Then I thought, if I didn't tell her why, she might think I'm a moron who can't cook to save her life. I told her and she started laughing and said something like that happened to her when she cooked her first meal for my dad when they were dating. So, I guess ruining meals by making out with your boyfriend runs in the family.

I hope it's not broken - just a really bad "stub your toe" incident.

Rae: Thanks for the yummy pictures of JM in the cream colored sweater. BetsyL: Thanks for the feedback about the AtS characters' in Shadowlass' story. I was surprised you found Angel off too as he's the only one I know best (mostly from Buffy) and he seemed natural to me. But I defer to your more experienced judgement. I still really like the story. Nan: When you posted that link in the last part to download video playing software, how do you know which is the right one to download? I know it's a dumb question but I'm computer dense. Where do I look to find out which version is right for my computer? Thanks. Deborah, exactly what kind of a computer do you have? Is it an IBM clone? Does it run Windows, and if so, what version fo windows? Is it a Mac? Approximately how old is it? That will help me know.
Alternatively, you can just pick up the same codec I did (it's specified on the post) and see if it works! If it doesn't, no harm done. [/color]

Karalee - I'm so sorry to hear about your toe!! That's awful. I hope it's not broken - just a really bad "stub your toe" incident. Thanks but, unfortunately, I am pretty sure it's broken. It's moving in ways it shouldn't. I had Brad feel it and he thinks it is too. I have it taped up. That's about all you can do with a toe anyway.

I have a Dell computer so, IBMish. It runs windows. I think it's 5.2 but I can't remember how to bring up a screen that displays that information - I don't know where to look to find out. Does this pin it down any?
