Thanks karalee! 25, such a good year. And because I just KNOW you all are dying to know... here's who else was born today! <snip> HappyBirthday missbuffy! My mother was also born today! I sent her some flowers, and am going up to visit her this weekend. She will be 80, but she's always been 25 at heart.

I manage. Hangin' in there might be the best way to put it. It's been a tough couple of days. But enough about me... As it happens, I like blackened chicken. We're made for each other. I am so sorry to hear this, Rob. If you need to vent, I'm here. I hope things start looking up. {{{{ROB}}}}

Rob - well now - OK, it's enough about you if you want it to be. On the other hand, if you wanna tells us all about your tough couple of days, don't hesitate to spill! And I gotta say, you sure are an incredibly understanding and accepting fiance to Lee. I am having a hard time getting going on my Yoko Factor analysis. I'm setting myself a goal of getting it done before Monday. Lots of problems with allergies as the autumn begins to show itself around here. If I'm not sneezing or dabbing at my watery eyes, I'm groggy from allergy meds. My analysis will be either discombulated or covered in spittle - or both! I hope your allergies get better soon. I've always been lucky not to have those. As to my problems, it's just some medical stuff. I don't know if there is anything more disconcerting than having a doctor look you in the eye and tell you he isn't sure why you're in pain. Ok, disconcerting might be a little too fancy a word. Scared s**tless might be more appropriate. On a happier note, I'm very much looking forward to the Yoko Factor analysis. Season 4 isn't my favorite overall, but these next three individual episodes are among my personal bests list. If I were to make one, that is.

Stick to your guns and make sure the doctor earns his paycheck. Who, but you, knows your body the best? If you're in pain, there's a reason. Doctors are good at intimidating you when they don't know what's causing your distress. I hope that your doctor isn't doing that. karalee - your toe might be a minor complaint, but unlike childbirth, there's no prize for dealing with the pain. Sometimes those little things bug us the most. Spring - allergies are such a bother. I could never go to circuses or be around horses as a kid because of allergies - all that hay pollen. Lee, your burnt chicken dinner story made my day! What a funny story to tell your grandchildren! I'm off to get a haircut in a bit. What is it about hair anyway? It can drive you nuts, but then the day you're going to get it cut, it looks better than it has in weeks? Counting down to 10-01!

You are quite successful, Betsy! Your little comments just make me laugh out loud. Considering how much laughter comes from my office, it is so obvious that I am NOT working.

They aired Orpheus here last night.
I absolutely love the a$$ kicking Faith gave Connor! WooHoo about time somebody put him in his place. And Angel/Angelus duking it out at the end is awesome!
BUT, I have always wondered (well, since the first time I saw it) why it took SO long for the drugs to affect Faith, but yet Angel drops within seconds of biting her?? That just doesn't seem to make any sense to me. Going by Angel's reaction to them Faith should have barely been able to get up after she injected, never mind have an incedible battle complete with superman jumps.
And again, who was that person that looked just like Willow and talked just like Fred??? Because that was NOT the Willow I know from Sunnydale.

Rob: Hope they figure out what's going on and it's something little that can be solved by ingesting chocolate or being waited on hand and foot; you know, like when you were a kid. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

That's very true, Karen. I also know what you mean about getting your hair cut. My hair can be a fizzy mess for weeks, but the day I go in to get it cut, it's nice and smooth and falls exactly like I want it to.

I saw on www.buffy.nu, that the rest of Episode 1 and all of Episode 2 are up for downloaded. I downloaded everything, and followed the instructions for extracting the file, but it wouldn't extract. I even installed the extractor they recommended. Anyone else having problems or even downloading the episodes? I guess that's my punishment for being impatient. But I'd rather be chained in manacles and whipped with a wet noodle by Spike or Angel . . . or hell the both of them ;D Betsy, I seem to be having the same problem. I can unload the opening credits and part one and play them but after that, I don't understand what's happening (instead of a download, I get a text file) and can't get anything to play. If somebody figures this out, I hope they will give us a step-by-step.

Anyone who gives Connor an ass-whuppin' is tops in my book. Couldn't stand the kid. He did grow on me towards the end - especially the scene with Comatose Cordelia in the church (can't remember what episode it was) but I still thought he was a punk who needed a good beat-down. Kick his ass, Faith, kick his ass! (I will be such a wonderful mother. ) I was so happy to see Willow embrace magic and not shy away from it. I really wish L.A. Willow had come back to Sunnydale. Alas, that was not meant to be....

Here's some good thoughts to make you smile: ice cream......chocolate......the Vikings......Faith........you and Faith........you and Faith and chocolate sauce.......

Maybe, because Morpheus is a mystical drug, it affects humans differently? Like, it takes longer to kick in, but once it does it can kill you?
Hi's to everyone, Happy Birthday MissB -- gotta run!
