As I recall, David was the one who'd posted that state-by-state list of what theaters were going to take part in the LOTR marathon December 16. That was in the Part that Moloch just ate. So FYI, I've just sent David a PM asking him to re-post it, so I (and others) can have it for reference. [/color]

By special request and on account of Moloch's misbehavior, I've reposted all the information on the special theatrical showing of the Lord of the Rings trilogy that I could find into a single thread. Any Tolkein fans (and I know there are a bunch of us in this group) are invited to peruse the info and make whatever arrangements you need.

I just did a trawl on the City of Angel board, where they've posted Nan's wondrous review of Angel 5.01. I dropped a reply that I hope is okay with you all: If you liked Nan Dibble's review, check out the Soulful Spike site at www.soulfulspike.com for more reviews, fanfic, and another great board! Wow! I am really amazed at how quickly Nan's article has been sent about! Ain't modern life a gas! Nan: way to go, girl!!

First, Moloch should be soundly flippersmacked.
Just in case anyone might be interested, this got eaten with the last thread:
The photo annual issue of Entertainment Weekly is out, and there's a fine picture of Eliza Dushku, looking very sultry.

PATTI!!!!! Shhhhhhh -- He might hear you! Oh, Great and mighty Moloch! Pay no attention to that S'cubie Cutie!
Ah, flippersmack, you all know what I mean. Don't make Moloch angry! We don't like it when he's angry!
"Press 1 for goats."

"Press 1 for goats." I pressed 1 for goats. I pressed it again. And again -- and kept pressing, until I'd actually pressed 11111111. Turns out that's the code for vestal virgins, so I'm having one delivered by FedEx. Don't know if that will help the board any, but I'm sure she'll cure what's ailing me ....

If you'd said before, I'd forgotten the source of this list. So I appreciate your hunting it down and posting it again. Speaking of Tolkein, I've managed to insert Frodo Fourfingers into Sunnydale as the proprietor of an upscale sleazy bar (vamps admitted, but only in human face, and you may get mugged for your poker winnings--$$, not kittens) in The Blood Is the Life. And I've compared Spike, TWICE, favorably to an Elf-Lord, in terms of their respective spiritual bodies. Well, Spike's IS spiritual, and I'll arm-wrestle anybody who says different!

As we all know, E! News Live on the E! Cable Channel is doing a bit from the set of Angel on Wed. It is set to air before episode two. (I think at 7pm eastern). I have no clue what will be said, but I'm thinking they might possibly give away plot points at least from ep 2. So, if you are being very careful, you might want to tape it and watch it later.

These things were lost 'before their time had come' in my opinion.
1. SandyShores won the Picture of the Week Contest this week and her winning picture is posted on the website - you'll see the link at the top of the page.
2. Rob's chapter SIX of TRUST has been posted - go read it - it is excellent!
3. Nan's review now has a link back to the site, and to the discussion thread, so NOW people reading it at Slayage or elsewhere (unless they just do a text copy and paste) will be directed back here or to our Website, as they choose. . 4. Spring's Spikecentricty analysis page now has a link back to her discussion area, so when she puts up a new analysis, it will be easy to then click the link to discuss it.
I didn't even get to read the last 7 pages of Part 48 - anyone want to repost their brilliance?

I'll be durned: I'm syndicated! Makd, O Thralling One, WHERE did you find it at City of Angel? I just looked for a few minutes without locating it. Can you guide, please? Nan, I found it by going to the forum, then doing a search on your name. Actually a poster there, named SHANNO, copied the review and plopped it into a post there, AND said 'this is from a website I shall not name'. I replied that Shanno should credit the source and I said that your reviews can be read each week at the Soulful Spike Society (and gave our web address) and can be discussed on our board.

Patti--maybe she thought she needed permission to name the website--she's now listed as our newest member. I've seen 3 new members in the past 2 days. Sue
