My dad's birthday is this weekend so I'm driving down late Saturday afternoon to see him and you better believe this is one of the first things I'm telling him!!! Oh, and makd - you're right about the nerd thing. I got confused - I'm a DORK. Yep, big ol' dork right here. Dork with a capital D-O-R-K. ;D

Thanx, John! So are smart guys, as I'm sure Vicky can attest. (how is Vicky, btw). I must note that most of the "Smart chicks" on this board could probably say in one post what it takes me three or four to articulate; I've always been over-verbose. GAIL Then you should be a lawyer (we say in 50 words what can be said in 10). Vicky's doing slightly better, and we're hopeful she'll be out by Sunday. Thanks for asking.

That's it! I give up. I'm going to run away with the circus!! Hmm, ok, well I'm really just going to see the circus with my friend and her daughter but it's much more fun to pretend I'm going so I can run away with them Hope everyone has a wonderful night (and weekend for those who won't be on)! Ciao~

I don't think I've ever asked this, but how old is Anya? She was born May 21, so only 4 1/2 months. But she came 3 months early. I thought you were on the boards when she was born.

Welcome Sarah - this is truly a wonderful board. We are so diverse that there are many, many ideas to discuss and think about.
Sorry Diane, you are not 3rd. Nan is the oldest, someone (sorry) just said they were 58. I am 57. So you are 4th oldest.
See how comfortable we are Sarah- we even tell our real ages. Of course it helps that we don't have those cameras on our computers and we can hide behind a variety of avatars!

I didn't remember seeing exactly when she was born. I just wondered how close in age she was to Piper (March 12). Is she sleeping better for you?

Your touching story about a baby that would be a fighter had me crying at my desk, and I just had to say something.

I joined in early June, but I lurked at ScoopMe for a long time. I didn't remember seeing exactly when she was born. I just wondered how close in age she was to Piper (March 12). Is she sleeping better for you? Not at all. She sleeps during the day, but at nights, for some odd reason she gets particularly gassy, and tends to be in some pain. It doesn't help that Vicky is in the hospital, but the nanny is keeping her at nights so I wont be totally dead at work. But the week-end is coming, and I'll be back to dealing with her night-time non-sleep. She's lucky she's so beautiful, and gives me the best smiles and laughs (and is already trying to talk, although she really only does it with me, or tweety bird. She simply smiles or laughs for everyone else).

Though I'd be delighted to stay and post all afternoon/evening, I have to finish packing and hit the road. I'm off to Maine for most of the weekend, will be back late Sunday night.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, EVERYBODY! [shadow=brown,left,300]GAIL ;D[/shadow] Leaving for Faire, cold and all. Our director says that when you have a problem, make it your character's problem. Baroness Hildegarde Sophia Tannenbaum Von Austpoof has the sniffles this weekend.

Aww, thank you. She truly amazes me. I hear so many preemie horror stories, but she's advanced so far so fast, and thank God so far, there are no signs of any problems. She's my little slayer! My precious little Anya-bear (I've given all my kids little pet names that for some reason have stuck with them, and everyone uses them- My oldest, Bishop, was my little man, so every calls him Bishop-man, and Xavier was my little buddy, so now they call him lil' buddy, except his mom who calls him Alex or Xander, because of his middle name, and Anya was so small, instead of being a teddybear, she's my Anyabear, and everyone calls her that. Not that creative, but weird how people hear me using these silly terms and then adopt them). Boy, did I just ramble. Oh, and, it was during that hard time, when everything happened, that I really got close with the S'Cubies, who were all so supportive and caring!

My name is Lee and I am a rambler. Those are the cutest names for kids!! My dad called me (and still calls me to this day) Missydoodle or Doodlebug.
