thanks Nan...weird...I thought I locked it. Let me go check... Ok...its locked. Maybe Dave locked it. Patti, this is strange: I'm looking at part 59 at 1:14 EST in the morning, and it's STILL NOT LOCKED. Just has a pushpin in it. Are we seeing the same board?

Patti, it now has a lock. Whatever made me see it otherwise--which I confess is quite possibly me, although in this case I doubt it because I looked at it very hard and carefully--is apparently gone, fixed, correct. And that's what matters. Thanks for checking back on it. I don't want to "lose" any more Part threads, or have them go strange, or whatever it is that alters them.
It's OK. It's fine. Thanks.

and, once again, we are on a slippery slope.......losing, losing, losing, control to Moloch.
Well, two more days till Angel, and I am wondering if we will see Marsters and Boreanaz singing and tap dancing for Lorne....maybe in one of those old Hope/Crosby numbers from the 40's? With Fred in a sarong?

I had a minor brainstorm about the nature and significance of Pavayne's most prominent minions. It's at or near the end of the Hellbound thread of the Angel's Investigations topic. I invite anyone interested to go take a look and perhaps comment there.
Now it's time for me, too, to leap into my coffin with my cats.

Brainfried from this weekend. Soaked through on Saturday and frozen on Sunday means exhausted on Monday. I was so brain-dead it took me all day to catch up.
I was surprised and gratified to find people remembering the Nerd Alerts I used to do on ScoopMe! so fondly. Actually, since Angel began I've kinda been feeling a little nostalgic for them.
Is there any interest in having the tradition revive here on S3? If so, I'll dust off my poor cobwebby little brain and take a crack at it.

Counting down to Vulkon. Can't decide what to wear, how to pack. It will be nice weather, so I don't know whether I should wear my BtVS t-shirts and go as a complete Buffy-geek, ala Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons, or slacks and golf shirts, because I believe Robia La Morte is single as is Juliet Landau (unfortunately Julie Benz is not, but two out of three ain't bad), and you never know -- love hides in the strangest of places. Or somewhere in between. I have decided firmly against a costume, even though it is Halloween weekend; there are limits to my dorkiness, believe it or not.
Anyhow, I leave it up to the S'cubies, especially the S'cubie ladies -- dress me.

I shan't take you up on this offer, David, but I DO find it charming that you leave yourself at the sartorial mercies of a bunch of entire nuts like us. Very sweet.

If you're not going to dress up, then I'd suggest going as Joe Normal and look as nice as you can--especially if you want to connect with one of the ladies you mention (or someone else entirely.) Supreme geekiness, while fun for us, is not likely to impress. I would, however, pack a couple of BTVS shirts for the just-in-case events that might happen in the later hours after the celebs go to their hotels for the evening. In other words, pack nice stuff, but take the geek shirts for emergencies (like meeting a pretty fellow-geek.)

Good morning. I did not see season 7 of Buffy until the last few. I watched Help for the first time last night. I just wanted to comment on Spike's acting in the ep. He was unbelievably great. His portrayal of crazy made me quiver and I wanted to reach out and hold him. To be honest, I was amazed at his depth with the character. I knew he was very good in other eps, but this just blew me away.
I don't know what went before but I thought Buffy's treatment of him was brutal. Why is he in the basement of the school? Why did she say that being with him was bad for him?
On a different note - I thought that the gruesome/ beautiful-Beast like demon was underused. All those hours in make-up for a few minutes. The same for that skin-eating demon. He made my stomach roil and I had to look away. Both were better looking, in an ugly way than many of the other demons, but they weren't around for very long.

I did post at ScoopMe, but I haven't the faintest idea where. I posted at Slayage's Opinions/ Reviews site for the final episode. BTW, I'm still looking for the section on Spike's pants. I keep hearing ABOUT it, but haven't found it. (Of course, I only looked once. I figured, Hey, Spike's Pants? once should be enough. <snip> Spike's Pants? Once should be enough? How do you figure?

For Robia: Tweeds For Juliette: Leather pants If you can't decide which you want to impress the most, wear a tweed jacked WITH leather pants. Gosh. I am good at this.
