OMG! "Oh. How've you been?" Still snorting... Right there with ya Shannon... He is in rare snarky form tonight. *grins* I'm loving it! And, it is true, I can't keep my eyes off him!

Oh, the best yet of the season! I laughed! I cried! I growled!
I have to put my son to bed (notice how carefully I said that).
See you all for the post-mortem!

*pounds on the elevator door* Hey, is anyone out there? I'm still stuck in here! "Oh, sorry! I didn't care!" (Ok, wrong ep, but I couldn't remember exactly what he said)

Well, since I'm stuck in this damn elevator, I might as well comment on the episode. I really enjoyed it but I feel bad for Wes. Poor guy. He needs a good love interest and we need some females... its a win-win situation!
Spike was great, GRRRREAT! tonight. Had me laughing out loud several times. "Uh huh… so you are not ruling out that a human being could have boffed a robot? Sex with robots is more common..." HA! Lots of good continuity tonight. Loved the reference to resurrection spells resulting in zombies.
I think, “Well that’s just something I say when…it, uh, gets dark,” might be my favorite line and delivery of the night though the whole "then she wanted to shag me" had me rolling too. Well, ok, I did laugh at, “Oh, uh, Eve’s stuck in the elevator...Oh, to be honest, I don’t even care.”

Oh, this was funny: “Oh yes, this is Los Angeles, we have to talk about our feelings and then maybe we’ll… hug.”

So, who was responsible for the cyborgs? I'm a little concerned about it. The R.W.P Cyborg said, "To take Angel’s will. Make him behave.”
That makes me wonder if it wasn't W&H and Eve was a bit quick to say what we were all thinking, "How do you know the amulet was meant for him?" Spike is incorporeal and tied to W&H. If it had been Angel, W&H would have him tied to them and he wouldn't be able to get away... makes ya go "hmmm".

*falls off the sofa laughing* I'm sorry. I thought Patti said she was very seldom naughty. Ha. I did! I am! very seldom. that. define naughty.

Oh, that was awesome! I really do LOVE Wesley, and how he's grown since he first came to Sunnydale!
Yes, he has grown, but he still has unresolved issues with his father. And a "yay us" for figuring that something is going to have to come out about Connor and Wesley's involvement in kidnapping him.
Father (I really can't think of him as anything else, and, in this context, it fits -- right Nan?) kept cutting him down -- and Wes got frazzled by it initially -- but he came back strong!
And oh, he and Fred came thisclose to confessing -- damn that Knox!
I really liked Spike's interaction with Eve -- I'd been watching her watching him earlier in the ep -- so I was really pleased to see him call her on it. But now we've got some questions -- we've been saying for months that W&H gave the amulet to Angel, so we figured they wanted Angel to wear it -- and get crispy-fried. But now -- Eve has thrown that into doubt.
Okay -- more later -- now I want my Jack McCoy! ;D

I think I'm infected with a serious case of Patti-itis. So, first W&H has the girl in the alley sign her eternal soul away, Gunn has Angel signing contracts in his blood, and now we find out W&H has a "Work ourselves to death and all" policy. I found it interesting that Knox said, "I’m guessing the firm isn’t enforcing that rule as strictly as it used to..." Seems to imply that they are still enforcing it...

Fantastic episode. I rank it up there with Hellbound as the best ep this season. Just simply wow.
Two things -- first, what happened to the whole "standalone" concept for this season? This episode relied heavily on past events, which is the way I personally like my Buffyverse. Just surprised me that it was so historically intrenched.
The other -- was it just my sound that went wonky when Wesley was talking to the cyborg thing? I could still hear the whirr of the self-destruct, but I only saw Welsey and the android's lips moving.
Other than that ....
Loved the confrontation between Spike and Eve about the amulet. Once again, I'm convinced there's an ME staffer lurking amongst us, because we've had that discussion many times about whether W&H wanted Angel turned into a ghost.
Also proof that an ME staffer lurks among us, the exploration of whether Angel still can trust Wesley or not. We've had that discussion as well.
Also loved Spike's comment about having sex with robots being more prevelant than anyone else realized. I do so miss the Buffybot.
I was surprised that Rupert Giles' name never came up regarding the reformation of the Watchers' Council. Not that I believe that android thing that the Watchers' Council is truly being reformed, just that I would have thought Giles would be an intricate player in it, and that Wesley would have been expecting as much.
It appears we have ourselves a new seasonal arc, as Angel and Co. try to figure out who these cyborgs are. Shades of Adam; I'm surprised there wasn't any comment on how much more advanced these guys were than the Initiative's attempt at the same sort of thing not so long ago. Never mind that Ted, April and the Buffybot were even more advanced than Adam (at least in that they could pass for human).
Was I the only one who, when Wesley's father started talking about how valuable the books were and how they needed to be locked up, thought that Wesley's father was in cahoots with the robots? I wasn't the least bit surprised when Wesley's dad coldcocked him -- a bit surprising that Joss would telegraph a twist like that so far in advance.
And for my last comment -- check out the promo for next week! Wow! Heard about it already at the convention; as shocking as it was, I'm surprised they used it for the promo -- but then again, who won't be tuned in next week after seeing that!
Again, I thought it was a fantastic episode. And next week looks to take things to an even higher level.

terrific episode!
so gonna NOT miss an Angel back episode anymore!
Reason? Wes is the man. The man. Ya hear? Hoo-boy. ME has been hiding him, fer sure.
Now I know what I've been missing on Angel. It ain't Cordelia. It surely ain't Lorne. Gunn is good, and getting better, but he's not the energy source. Fred? Well, they all want her, but Knox seems to be getting to her.
But, ole Wes? Hoo-hah! He's surely the energy source, just as Angel is the steering wheel and the steering column, Wes is the battery. Oh yes.
Want to see Spike corporeal. Want to see Spike and Wes bond. Want to see those two energy sources ignite at the same time, on screen.
And, if they are fighting alongside Angel? They gotta be unbeatable. Really nuclear.
Can't wait.
Show was so good, can barely talk in whole sentences.
Sandy --- I went over the edge sometime around 9:50-9:55. fell. off. a. 30. storey. building.
Now, I can't wait to see Angel tomorrow afternoon - and damn! I work late on Thursday, so I will miss it! Damn. Now am obsessed.
Damn Mutant Enemy. Damn Joss Whedon.
What can I say? the pleasure, the pain. ahh..
I won't be sleeping early tonight.
