Welcome to the Soulful Spike Society Posting Board. Bring your chatter about Buffy, Spike, Angel and their friends and foes here - discuss, debate, agree, disagree, but keep it friendly. Remember to visit our website at www.soulfulspike.com for fanfiction, poetry, pictures of note, member profiles, articles and more. Board Disclaimer(s): All arriving spoils should be taken to the Angel Spoilers board so that all the spoiler whores have something to devour and can commence in mocking us with their superior episode knowledge while us spoiler phobics live in happy ignorance. Thanks! This is a wide-open board comprised of intelligent adults. Sometimes things get a little rowdy, and that's usually fun. However, let's keep the level of discourse, in terms of any hot-button topics or crude language, to what would be appropriate to a group of friendly acquaintances of various genders traveling together on a cross-country bus with the intention of enjoying the ride and each others' company. Hi, Len Season 2, right now, on TNT at 5 p.m. (Gee, I really love you guys, 'cause I'm missing it.) Season 4, on TNT on Tuesdays at 11 p.m. Season 1, on UPN on Sundays at 4 p.m. (NYC/Met area.) And, occasionally, Season 3, on Fox (NYC/Metro area channel 5) on late Sunday/early Monday at 1:00 a.m.
So that means, pretty much, all seasons of AtS are being aired -- by four different networks!
And I'm first!
Damn! I woulda been first, if not for the flippersmackin' "too many connections"! You people spent too long on part 74!

If anyone is interested, here are the lyrics to Lindsey McDonald's L.A. song he sang for Lorne in Dead End.
Pretty girl on every corner Sunshine turns the sky to gold Warm, warm, it's always warm here I can't take the cold
Streets littered with diamonds Everyone is glistening This whole world shines so brightly I can't see a thing
She is pretty as a picture She is like a golden ring Circles me with love and laughter I can't feel a thing
Chorus
The sky is gonna open People are gonna pray and crawl Gonna rain down fire Gonna burn us all
Sky is gonna open People gonna pray and sing I can't feel - - a thing
She is pretty as a picture She is like a golden ring Circles me with love and laughter I can't feel a thing
Repeat chorus

I hate to nit-pick but we are now posting in the Soulfulk Spike Society. I'm not sure what a fulk is, so I don't know if I should be offended, or pleased. [/i][/quote] A little of both. But it's gone now; it was interesting while it lasted.

IIRC, the Beast was searching for the totems of the Ra-tet, a mystical order of five enormously powerful beings who are "totems", or symbolic manifestations of the Egyptian sun god, Ra. The totems carried talismans in each of their bodies, so I believe he was looking for the talisman, I presume he knew it was somewhere in W&H, and was checking to see if Lilah carried it. He eventually retrieves the talisman from Mesektet, the little girl in the white room. Incidentally, Mesektet was the evilest of the totems, as she represented sunset and was therefore "darker" than the other totems. The Beast took a black energy from her. FYI, Manny, the totem Angel and Gwen and Gang protect from EvilCordy, represents noon and is considered neutral, the blend of good and evil traits inherent in all human beings. This may have been more than you wanted to know but I was on a roll.

What happened? Everyone was posting up a storm on the other page, I sit down, and it stops I was just able to watch Dead End. Really good episode and, Holy Cow, Lindsey can sing. I thought it was funny how everyone thought he was sounded good, but Angel thought he sucked.

What happened? Everyone was posting up a storm on the other page, I sit down, and it stops New Part. Folks feel disoriented. Also, I think the East Coast folks are somewhere between work and dinner right now. I'm still here. Reading about ageing in fruit flies.

See, Len? juggling 5 seasons of Angel, here. How's it feel? Kinda like Principal Wood trying to figure out how Spike could be souled, chipped, and triggered.

Hi Caraleigh, Have you stocked up on heart medication for the playoffs yet? ;D I sure thought the Chiefs were going to lose Sunday afternoon. It was an ugly win, wasn't? I was so scared they were going to lose two in a row. I'm not too worried about San Diego (but then, I wasn't worried about Cinncinatti, either ), Denver is going to be a problem, especially since they are playing there. The Vikings are still going to be a problem, too. They just are going to keep me on edge until the play-offs are over.

A little of both. But it's gone now; it was interesting while it lasted. okay. okay. Time for a little teaching here: what is a "fulk"? a verb? (Fulk you.) a noun (I don't give a fulk.) an adverb (no fulking way.) an adjective (That's fulking crazy.) 'Splainy?

The weekend showings of Angel and Buffy are syndicated; they're on the WB in the Seattle area, for instance. Julia, wondering where Pt 74 has gotten to and hoping no-one tried to say anything to me there

I just kept telling myself if they had lost the 1st game and were 9-1 after that game, I'd be thrilled, so I'm still gonna be thrilled.
