Angel was muy jealous; since everyone knows Angel can't sing. I remember how Cordy went up to Lindsey and said something like 'I know you're evil and everything, but I loved your singing'....
Do y'all realize that with the addition of Lindsey, even on a semi-regular basis, to the cast, we now have five of the handsomest hunks in Hollywood (or elsewhere) on ANGEL - and they can all act!
We're so lucky. [glow=red,2,300]GAIL [/glow] How can we forget? Our Wednesday happy starts 36 hours BEFORE each episode. My goddess: Denisoff (spelling?), Richards, Marsters, Boreanaz, and now, Kane? Be still my heart. (Hallett doesn't count; he's in make-up and green with envy.) The only thing better? a movie with Depp and Bloom. Any movie with Gerard Butler. A movie that includes Clive Owen, Keanu Reeves (buffed, as in Speed), Antonio Banderas, Olivier Martinez, or Richard Gere. Excuse me. I'm going to open the windows in the TV room. All the way. Then, I'll watch the 11 p.m. showing of Angel on TNT now. Gail, I was soooo calm until you reminded me. must have dignity. must have dignity. must have dignity. thud.

After hours of searching I finally found the link to Lindsey's song from Dead End. I don't want to put the actual link here, cuz I don't understand bandwidth and don't want to make the site owner mad, so here it is: http:// evil.christiankane.de/lyrics.htm Just copy this link and take the space out between // and evil. It has the lyrics first and the song download is at the bottom of the page. Good Luck Thanks for the download. I have actually heard that on one of the RadioBuffy playlists, but I've no idea which one. I like CK's voice and his acoustic guitar-playing too.

In case you're still wondering the singer is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. His wonderful rendition of Over the Rainbow has been used in at least one other movie (I think Finding Forester) but the original CD (released posthumously) is called Facing Future. There are other gems on this CD. I highly recommend it. (Not least because I'm from Hawaii.) Thank you! I had remembered that the singer had died. Another one for the Christmas list.

Let's both try to calm down. WHOA, nellie! Think about Principal Snyder in his underwear...

Tonight's S4 Episode of Habeas Corpses -- Lilah and Wesley -- they really did love each other in a strange, dark way.
And Lilah really still has some brief traces of humanity under all the evil -- probably what Wes connected to, and why he could love her. The way she looked at him at the beginning of the ep, when she came to make sure he was still alive -- the way he came to W&H to save her (even though he did abandon her) -- the way she told him that Connor was trapped in the firm -- there were some deep emotions running between the two of them.
And really, much as I feel for Wes about Fred -- nobody gets to be happy in the Joss-verse (at least, not while your show is still in first run! ;D). I somehow think that Wes will never get together with Fred, because even if Holden Knox isn't around, I don't think that Fred has that dark undercurrent that would hold Wes.
But that's just me.

GAIL Hello! Guys, I just saw Angel on TNT - season 4, and wow!! I have been following season 4 there, and oh boy! the confusing mish-mash of last year is starting to make sense, 'cause, well, not missing any episodes, and the daytime TNT and Sunday UPN's are helping A LOT. (run on sentence here, but, you gotta understand: great episode!! Last week, well, Angel saw Cordy and Conner getting it on. Big ewww! but: Angel saw and not a happy vamper. This week: Angel kicked Cordy out of the Hyperion, cause, well, he's not a happy vamper. oh boy! Goddess, what a great soap!!

But that's just me. ITA. I think, what you said + what someone posted several days ago about Fred (That the depth of Wes' attraction scares her) = No getting together with Wes for Fred. I think she wants a calmer, steadier partner, rather than the noirish Wes. Really, so much in common between Spike and Wes and Spike and Angel. Yet, so different. Gotta love the writers. Gotta love Joss Whedon.

This week: Angel kicked Cordy out of the Hyperion, cause, well, he's not a happy vamper. oh boy! Goddess, what a great soap!! Lot of good stuff between Lilah and Wes there, too. Like Laura, I don't feel that Wes and Fred will get together, but he did like Lilah dressed up like Fred. He's one conflicted puppy, our Wesley. In tonight's S4 episode of Angel, we saw Angel's complete devotion to saving Connor. No matter what he had to do. He's angry, but he didn't let that get in the way of what he had to do. But he was one angry vampire after he saw Cordy and Connor together - punching his way down from the roof. Lot of passion there beneath the broody.
