Love Hardison evoking Spock's death scene when he blew up the van.

Aww... the phone call to Sophie was heartbreaking.
Love Sophie's excitement about rapelling down the ?? shaft. "Like a coffin, with wind!"

"Did you find us a client in prison?" ;D I love how they keep refusing to tell him Sophy's real name. So-phyyyy. So. Fee. Sooooooooooofeeeeeee. "Yeah. I'm a lurker. That's my thing." **pets and cuddles the adorable Eliot** "For a den of evil, this place smells wonderful. Hardison, confiscate the pastries." **pets and cuddles the adorable Parker** Clever security twist, to have the computer guy using tech so old that it's become unhackable. "How did anyone ever get anything done in the 80's!" **pets and cuddles the adorable Hardison** Also? I so totally knew when we saw the two cloth figures hanging on the wall that they'd end up using them to escape. I love the running bit of Parker always ending up as a cater-waitron. She could do that job in her sleep by now. Heeeee! And then it goes all totally "Grosse Pointe Blank" on us. ;D "It's mean girls like you that always ruined high school for the rest of us" Sophie says to the assassin. "What the hell are you talkin' about?!" "Catering. What a business!"

Why is TNT dumping Leverage on Sunday nights? Not to mention that I have to fiddle around with the DVR every week so I don't miss the last minutes, and as it is, the end of the first episode cuts off in mid-word and starts up again at the beginning of the second...
Anyway.
Richard Chamberlain? Richard Chamberlain is Parker's dad/mentor? And his name is Archie Leach? As in Cary Grant? Richard Chamberlain? *swoons*
Sophie is Emma Peel? Hardison is John Steed? *snortles*
I know there were other remarks I wished to make, but the only thing I can remember is that if Archie is Parker's dad, Nate is her big brother. And she has indeed made her own family.
The second one was pretty good too. Hardison plays the violin, huh? Didn't see that one coming.

Oh, it's not just us with the cutting-off-of-the-final-zinger, eh? Annoying it is. Parker's home is just heartbreaking, but she's going to be a real girl one of these days. Julia, the shippers must be thriled with the direction of the past couple of episodes.

I hope she can explain that the violin solo was still all his. All Nate did was let Hardison's inner artist past the stage fright. Not that it was a defensible act, but I still say that was Hardison playing, and no amount of hypnosis could've made it possible if the ability wasn't there. You think Nate is driving everyone away because he doesn't think he deserves their friendship or respect? Because I can kind of identify.

Not crazy about Leverage competing with True Blood on Sunday nights. For one thing it means I get to bed VERY late.
That said, both eps ROCKED. I have always loved Scheherazade. That single, soaring note--just perfect.
And Richard Chamberlain looks damn good for an old guy.
Parker's home = creepy/sad. So nice she's built herself a family.

Man, these two episodes a night are hard to do! So, I've only watched the first one from last night, so far. ;D “I don’t remember a kiss. I remember a slap. You’re still working off the slap.” Oooooh, sexy! Parker’s place! I’m with Eliot – not surprised at all. Always gotta love the old “civilized chatting while ignoring the fight” bit. Parker’s daddy? Ooooooh! Evil villains are very evil in this!! I love that Parker goes back. Not only is this right because that’s “what they do” now, but I wonder if it actually helps defeat the security system, since it would not expect that they return. “That’s great. You’re awesome. Let’s go!” Heee! Sarcastic Eliot is funny. Ah how nice and old fashioned – the “tell you all about my evil plan” villain.

Speaking of Leverage: there's a whole lot of Leverage fic at Archive of Our Own.
I'm putting a couple of links up at the Recs area post haste: one for a very funny Leverage gen fic, and another for Archive of Our Own, which I should have done ages ago.
Julia, hundreds of Leverage fics over there, wowie zowie

“Turns out you can’t see naked pictures of girls on a violin.” Ha!
Nice moment when Hardison is playing and they all just listen and then I liked how they cut the sweetness of that moment by having his skill be the result of Nate hypnotizing him.

But the skill WAS there. Nate's hypnosis did nothing but allow Hardison to remember the time when the skill was fresh and calm him down enough to tap into it. If he hadn't had the skill to begin with, the hypnosis wouldn't have worked.
And that single, soaring note...worth the entire rest or the episode all by itself.
