Second mistake - you spilled his coffee. ;D Parker. Has to impersonate a cheerleader-beauty queen type? Heeeee!! Ha! Hardison calls their encryption adorable. I don't think prison changed Nate. I think this has always been Nate. Also? Hardison-Eliot banter scenes are always made of win. Lots of great Eliot moments in this ep - like the moment when he's telling Nate what to look for to spot a hidden security guy and then the woman he's been keeping busy comes back and let's him down so gently and Nate is all "do you need time to shake it off?". Ha!! "Too many voices! Too many voices!!" I'm going to start just randomly shouting that out sometimes. I'm enjoying jealously-violent random threat-making Parker. And action!Parker. I love how Parker soooooo didn't want to trigger the motion sensors. It has to be hard to give up your professional pride and do something like that. Breaking beer bottles with your bare hands? Not good, Parker! Not good! Those pretzels? They're there for you, whenever you want them.

And, I'm pretty sure he was aware of what she was trying to say but not able to -- but isn't jumping right in until she's able to actually express it to him herself. He's being patient, but at least is not unaware.

And that he knows/understands why saying even as little as she did was, for her, a very big deal.

He pretty well told her that her feelings were reciprocated but that he wasn't going to rush her. Now we get to watch Parker try to find her human self (as opposed to the robot she has always tried to be) so she can develop her first actual relationship.

I had a thought: Parker has interesting similarities of upbringing and personality to Carol O'Connell's Mallory - both lost their parents and homes, both survived on the streets, and both are still kind of... feral cats. Neither of them is really that good at relationships. Also, they're both blondes, but that is probably just a coincidence. The interesting difference being that Kathy Mallory was captured and tamed by a NYPD detective (and became part of his real family), while Parker, as we now know, was captured and tamed by a professional thief. Each chose the same profession as their surrogate father. Kathy Mallory, by the way, is described by her creator as a sociopath. Let's just hope that Parker's relationship with Hardison goes better than Mallory's with Charles. Anne, there it is, for whatever it's worth

Love love love CK singing. Love love love Hardison being all "you're a little pitchy" and coaching him in the recording studio.
And I don't know why the hell they decided to have Parker play Bjork, but it's hysterical to watch. ;D
"I don't think I'm being weird enough." "Oh, I doubt that."
And we get another classic Eliot fighting behind people while they are oblivious scene. Sweet! ;D

Will take on vacation.

Sweet! ;D Well, it's always been a cartoon/comic book in that the feats they perform technically, fighting and just walking in and taking over identities are all not really possible in the RW. But totally enjoyable comic book and totally worth the suspension of disbelief. But this episode (and, yes, it was a lot of fun) came dangerously close to a parody of their comic-bookishness. Also, given that we just discovered Hardison's amazing violin talent I thought that is was a little odd to immediately have an ep discovering CK's singing talent. [Wondering why I make it habit to point out the flaws instead of just praising the enjoyability.]

Aw, c'mon! You can't have CK in a series and NOT have a story that gives him a chance to sing. Really!

So fun to see this ep “again” (we saw a nice chunk of it at the Leverage panel at Comic Con – CK totally acknowledged that the Hardison/Eliot slashers were gonna have fun with it. Hell, he didn’t just acknowledge, he encouraged ). I love that they are amping up the danger this season. More jobs going farther off the rails, more things going wrong for our guys that they have to adapt to on the fly. “Overconfidence will kill you faster than a bullet any day. Fear is good.” “Oh, I have fear. And doubt. And really serious regrets. I should be fine.” “Science. It works.” **followed by hulk smash with tree branch club** “You kill to protect your rights. A real soldier? He’d die protecting someone else’s.” Damn, that’s a nicely written line delivered very nicely! You go, CK! High five! For morale! “You ain’t gonna rain on my parade today. I made a bomb! Out of a menthol light!” “There’s no talkin’ in fishin’, man! That’s the beauty of it.” “You’re too tense, it’s a delicate sport.” ;D Awwwww. Buddies!
