Ooooh! Backstory for Caroline!Echo? How she got here, yes? Yeah, being held there - doesn't sound all that "voluntary". At least two years of history, Caroline knows about this place beforehand. "Nothing is as it appears to be." Holy crap! The two of them laughing while he bashes his head open. The Rossum (sp?) Corporation again. "I might throw up. That's a compliment!" Ha! "That's what's so exciting about drugs!" I am oddly entranced by his enthusiasm when speaking on a topic that he is interested in. Ooooh. And actives have nothing there, no inhibitions to be released, so it's OK for them to go in. And Echo is out . . . with the guy we saw her with before. In a totally different role. Which is . . . an interesting idea. "We don't fast forward to the honeymoon just because I had a bad day." "I like taking care of you." Uh huh. Nice summing up of their different perspectives on things. Well, the perspective she appears to have. Is that all programmed? Or is this her and they've just added the fighter? Or is the fighter really her and they've added this personality? Heh! Nice burn. Topher set up some of the actives to have more authority than the security guy. Ha!! Huh. So, Echo's old client wanted to have her all innocent and get to "teach" her stuff? Oooh! Memory flashes! Is it the name of Rossum that caused it?

So the Dollhouse is paid for or financed by the Rossum corporation. Caroline did some sneakin' around at the Rossum building at whosiwhatsis university.
I am gonna throw this out there: Caroline is Adelle's daughter.
and that outfit Alice is wearing is disturbingly adorable.

Yep. Eventually every sci fi show has to do a Naked Time episode.
Caroline Farrell. Well, there's one easy theory mostly knocked out of the way.

AND Adelle gives us a look of "Terrified" and "High as a kite" at the same time there, looking at Mellie as she recites her ass-kicking activation sequence.

A few years ago . . . Caroline was all political.
OMG, they're using neighbor woman (is her name Mellie? sp?) as a lab rat to see what the drug does? Oy!!
Rossum Corporation is why they exist (money, yes? Do they own the Dollhouse? The Dollhouses?). And she believes in the work we're funding (so, the Dollhouses pay for some other "important" something?).
Don't have any more X factors. Oh that is just asking for trouble.
Ooooh. Now is Boyd gonna go nuts too? Is the drug spread thru contact?
She's supposed to save "him". So, she's remembering actual event from her life, yes? Maybe the trouble she was in that meant they grabbed her later?
She knows how to get in and that "freaks her out". Heh! Also, I find it interesting how sure the guy was that they were being experimented on - he was expecting it. Hmmmmm. Is he like Caroline was before she was memory-wiped?
"Do you want to have a treatment." "No." (First, that's a wow moment - that she did not repsond appropriately to programming!) "Hey. Wow. Did not maintain control of that situation." (Heee! Boyd is funny when he's stoned.)

So the Dollhouse is paid for or financed by the Rossum corporation. Or is it vice versa? I can't quite tell what they're saying. At first I thought it was Rossum paying for the Dollhouse, but . . . from what the head woman was saying to Topher, could it be the opposite? That is a disturbing idea my friend. And now I'm wondering if you're right . . . OMG, I know it's wrong of me to think so, but hell ya it's adorable! Damn sexy too. thinks dirty bad wrong thoughts ;D

Holy crap, Sam's the bad guy.
And he does not want to unmask her memory blocks.
Something tells me this is gonna end like a Weatherman making bombs in the basement.

"I don't want to say evil." "Yeah. Yeah you really do." (That ad looks totally like something you'd see on Better Off Ted. So, Caroline was a corporate protester, animal rights activist, etc.? She spent time partying in the shadow . . . so did she go to school there? And now security guy is affected. And he's not as fun as Boyd. Wait, I was wrong. He is adorable!! Gun is so heavy - heeeeeeeeeee!! "There's no way Dom would consciously try to have fun." ;D Campus will fill up with wacky time bombs. You have to admit I am . . . very . . . British! OMG, they're high now too! "Ooh. I could eat that word. Or a crisp. Do you have any crisps?" "You haven't seen my drawer of innapropriate starches?" She woke up and everything was "normal". Only now she keeps being in that "I don't know" and "I'm not sure" place. Solely because she is having flashbacks, or is it also because she is out of the planned fantasy scenario? (Also - Sam is totally nummy eye candy!) Lily Foundry. Who is she? "You're safe as hous-es. Because of the government! They do things!" Heee! They're all so extremely happy to listen to the music. OMG, someone who knows Caroline!!!! She did go to school there or work there or something!! Echo went there to let Caroline DeWitt? Hmmmm. And Mellie is hitting the not as good part of the drug. But she's doing it as Mellie (being upset that Ballard is thinking about Caroline). Oh this is all so twisty!! **bounces happily** Oh no. She's not on the drug, she's remembering. Which is not a good thing when she's remembering her life as as killing machine, eh?

Caroline and her planning. And boyfriend is urging some caution.
Oh, Lilly Foundry! The grate into the sub-layers! Nice.
"How can you not remember something and remember it at the same time?" It is very intriging to compare this, where she has an implanted personality that is "remembering" with the time when she was wiped and learning (in the vault).
"I am so sorry that I tried to kill you." Heeee! "I tried to burn you to death. Who does that?" (Very cool to see how each of the Dollhouse management are reacting to this drug. And good to remember that the drug strips away their inhibitions, so what we're seeing is very much what is really inside them, yes?)
"Whatever you think you did, I'm over it. Water. Bridge. Under." ;D
This not all there is to him. Look at that suit. Not a nice doggy.
Heee! And he is very smart to make them all turn in their drugs.
Sierra. Whoa. She's remembering - she's "glitching". Damn and now he is too. This is sooooo not good. Not. Good!
"I am your superior!!" "In every way. Go check."
"You think I float around? Like a balloon untethered to your muck?" (That? Is a very very telling sentence, that is.)
The drug hitting the actives and later is what will help him fix it, yes?
"Is that the drug? You found it. You found it really fast." Oh, crap. Is Sam is the guy who did it?

Now do we learn what happend those "several years ago"? Ah! They were in over their heads - learned about unauthorized human experimentation? Oh! He is a corporate spy industrial espionage guy? Oh! And he was partners with the other guy. And the drug is intensifying her remembering. Whoa! They shot him? Rather . . . extreme for the situation, yes? Which means that they are doing something bad at the lab. "Again. So sorry about the burning alive thing!" (OMG, I am soooooo happy to be getting humor in these last two eps! I love all my "serious" shows, but I still believe BSG would have been even better with more humor. Just sayin'!) Boyd! And this time the programmed phrase works. Hmmmmm. Because she was needing safety, and she's programmed to react to him and that phrase as meaning she's safe?
