Which may I add is TONIGHT!!! \o/ wooo Dev I dunno, I don't think she gets all demony until the next episode, next week, which will be the last new ep for... maybe six weeks? Argh! Argh, argh argh! I don't know what's worse, another long wait for new episodes of the sinking feeling that these may be the only new episodes in the Jossverse for a long time. Oh, well, happy Alexis Denisoff's birthday, anyway! Julia, very mixed feelings today.

Why will it be the last new episode for 6 weeks? Damn you Americans and your wierd tv schedules! Didn't we already have a break from end of November to begining of January?

Why will it be the last new episode for 6 weeks? Damn you Americans and your wierd tv schedules! Didn't we already have a break from end of November to begining of January? Did you know if you go to fetch a link and do not post a long response to a quote, the answer will be gone when you come back? Assume an obscene tirade now. US TV schedules are all about the sweeps periods, when ratings are used to set advertising rates: November, February, and May. So, we get new episodes during those periods and reruns, random single episodes, and assorted drek the rest of the time. OH, and shows which are not considered by the networks to be sstrong, which should make all "Alias" fans shake in their boots as there has only been ONE episode in the February sweeps. Jordan Levin has a plan, sort of, to get around that in the Post-Angel WB scenerio. Scroll down to Media Savant's post in the linked thread at Frell Me Dead: www.watchfarscape.com/forums/showthread.php?s=dc8121ae8d72f7fb8964e43484b5e1e0&threadid=21268&perpage=15&pagenumber=1Julia, who apologizes in advance for what that URL is going to do to the display width

Whatever happened to just playing the series over 22 weeks ? Dev I dimly recall something sort of like that happening back when TOS was in its first run, but not any time lately; even in the 50s and 60s there were interruptions for "Specials" at Christmas and sort of randomly at other times. Julia, about to go off on a tirade about the whole testing fallacy, but too bummed by reality

For those of us with no ability to delay gratification, the summary for "A Hole in the World" is up at www.angelsacolyte.com/. I only looked for context on the promo clip with Spike and Angel holding hands, myself. Julia, I live to serve...

In the UK series tend to start in spring or autumn so sort of February time or September time is when you will find new series of things starting. For example Freinds series 10 is starting over here now and is on episode 3, it will continue for the next 18 weeks or so untill it's done ;D Much simpler. American adverts are funny aswell

here's a link to a site visit (reported in Ghostgirl's LJ) to the AtS set. Mighty-small spoilers, but still might qualify as spoiling for some peeps. ghostgirl13.livejournal.com/

a clearer-to-read version of the set visit noted above is available now at buffy.nu. also there, under Site Visit II are the spoiler details hinted at in the LJ. Not surprising spoilers, but still, spoilers. All I can say, from what I read, should be a bang-up ending to the series. (Please, please, no, not that.....) www.buffy.nu/article.php3?id_article=3366

I'm really wondering how this ep is going to play out, and hoping it isn't just one more bloody superfluous loss. Julia, and also wishing TWOP would get their boards back online as I'm wondering how the hung with a new rope bunch is complaining about this one ;D

I stand corrected: ten days after their declared goal, TWoP forums are back up. The whiners are still whining, although somewhat less hysterically.
Reading TWoP and ASSB is like watching dueling realities; it's hard to tell they're talking about the same show.
Julia, althoughneither of them are very good at extrapolation

which is why I long since stopped checking them out - threw them out of my database, too. I was actually having fun reading the impressions of one N'ubie who was watching and reviewing the Fx and TNT reruns of BtVS and AtS- the rest of the board had long since gotten much too predictable, the same people saying the same things over and over, and making the same predictable mistakes in fact and interpretation. The spoiler thread is, alas, still a good place to go to get early links to spoilers from some of the more obscure sites. But as a source of understanding for fan opinion? totally corrupted by the social pressure of Strega's opinion and that of a few verbose but not necessarily intelligent poster. Julia, who will brave anything for fresh spoilers.

www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0402/27/index.htmSpoilery photos from episode 5.16, "Shells"; you need to scroll down to see them, about 1/3 down the page. Click to enlarge, and do not use their BACK button as it puts you back at the top of the page- use whatever navigation tool you have on your desktop to go back instead (Mac weenie not sure of what PC nav tools look like Julia, or is it 5.17, I'm confused right now
