It's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.
Sounds like we’ve entered the fouth week of the 2007 Sizzlin’ Episode Festival.
Our seventh most requested Buffy episode is
Lie to MeSeason 2, Episode 7 Ford, an old friend of Buffy's from L.A., shows up unexpectedly in Sunnydale, and seems to know that she is the Slayer. When Xander, Willow, and Angel discover that he is involved with a cult-like group of disillusioned teens who idolize vampires, they must find out Ford's true agenda before it's too late. The seventh most requested Angel episode is
SoullessSeason 4, Episode 11 After Team Angel succeeds in removing Angel's soul, they have two new problems to confront. First, they have to get Angelus to tell them everything he knows about the Beast. And secondly, they have to keep him from turning Team Angel against each other. As Angelus starts exploiting all of Angel's memories about his friends, though, it becomes clear that he's has a lot more power than it seems.Well. Would ya look at those two eps? I'm sensing a theme here . . .
Want to get all fired up for discussing? Watch your DVD or tape, or read the episodes. Lie to Me is here and Soulless is here.
And don’t forget the wonderful Spikecentricity analysis of Lie to Me by our own Spring Summers, here on the Soulful Spike Society website, and the comment thread for her review, here.
Here at the S3, we want your thoughts and your feelings, your truths and your lies and everything in between! Post away, my nasty, pointy, bitey ones Lonely Ones Who Walk With the Night. Here in the main thread, or in the Episodic Elaboration threads for Lie to Me and SoullessIt’s just words.

It’s the 5th week of the 2007 Sizzlin’ Episode Festival, and what a difference a week makes!
We go from comforting lies to a surprisingly honest and truly touching moment with our Sunnydale High kids. From a confidently soulless Angelus torturing those around him to a soulfully doubting Angel torturing himself.
Our sixth most chosen Buffy episode is
The Prom
Season 3, episode 20 The biggest night in High School life is just around the corner, when strange creatures start appearing around town attacking anyone in formal-wear. Meanwhile, Angel tells Buffy that he wants her to have a chance at the normal life that he could never give her. He plans to leave Sunnydale after the Ascension. Buffy must put aside her own pain and try to track down the source of the demonic Hellhounds in time to save the Senior Prom. Our sixth most chosen Angel episode is
Soul Purpose Season 5, episode 10 Lindsey and Eve continue to plot against Team Angel. Lindsey approaches Spike, telling him that the Powers That Be have selected Spike to be the new Champion now that Angel is working for Wolfram & Hart. Meanwhile, Angel is caught in a series of hallucinations and can't wake up. Celebrate the Joss-ness! Celebrate these shows! Celebrate these eps! Post your thoughts and feelings, babbles and squees, smiles and tears, here in the main thread or in the Episodic Elaborations for The Prom and Soul Purpose.Need a refresher on these eps and don’t have a handy tape or DVD? Yup! You heard it right! S'cubies in Paradise! Fun in the Sun! Beach Blanket Spike! If you haven't already, take a stroll over to the thread that Shan conveniently tucked at the top of the main board. Yeah, this one.. the one that houses the current Part. Tell you what, here's a nifty link.
We are taking a poll, not exactly a binding one, but one that will let us know where we stand on the whole S'cubie Cruise concept. There's dates and locations to choose from! Please take a look and if you are at all serious about attending, check a selection.
Your fellow S'cubies will thank you.
And, for those that voted early, you might check back in... there's been a few information items that have been added since it was started. And don't hesitate to post in that thread if you have any questions, even if you haven't taken the poll!
A S'cubie Cruise! Now tell me that thought doesn't set your pulse to racing? Unless, it actually doesn't, of course. Umm, then, feel free to be very quiet. Or to, you know, lie. Lying works.

Just stopping by quickly before I go to bed to let you know a miracle has occurred. No, Monnie, Spring, and Jan have not agreed to share Spike—I've actually finished and posted my review of Heroes' "Four Months Later" before the next episode has aired. Those of you so inclined can peruse it here.
