I vote for limiting posting traffic to this forum.

Yes indeed! Please do! I think Spike-centric reviews would be a wonderful thing to have on the site. By all means, write them up and send them to scubiefan@yahoo.com. I will see that they get posted and have a section all to their own. Thanks for stepping up and helping out.
Let this be an example to all those others who have something to offer. It's because of ALL of us, that the Soulful Spike Society exists. Be creative folks. Let me know what you think would be nice.

Vlad of course VHISN history/profile can go on the website. Of course i have to do it first.
I will help as much as my techno-idiot self can. In fact I hope It will help me learn to do some things. I have some song cuts I'd love to set to stills or video. No clue on earth how to do that. I was planning on posting a survey about popular songs we feel are appropriate for Spike and/or Buffy/Spuffy. About them, or that we could imagine them singing about/to each other. But I was going to wait until the next thread.I'm assuming people could actually hear them on the web site?

My father's family was from Chicago. Spent alot of time there as a kid and just went back recently. Great city. I also lived in SF for many years and loved it. Too expensive for me now but I miss the food

Folks, I am delighted and amazed at the overwhelming positive response to having a supplamentary web site for the Soulful Spike Society. However, keep in mind that I have yet to hear from Alexandra over the fate of this new endeavor.
As Alex founded the entire organization and is in fact the defacto leader of all of us, the entire thing is in her hands. I will not attempt to do anything she feels may detract from the posting board on ScoopMe. ScoopMe is the birthplace of this wonderful group and it should remain it's home. I merely want to providea place for things that go beyond the scope of a posting board. I want a place to collect ongoing history of the postings.
I think having a place to upload or download pictures, artwork, audio and other such things would be a boon. Also a place to hold records such as that of the VHISN faculty and related matters would be a nice inclusion. I am sure that as the site grows, it would begin encompassing even other things that I am not thinking of at the moment, and judging by the requests, offers and suggestions posted in the last hour or two, I have no doubt that it would become something even beyond what I am envisioning.
But, let's remember it is the ScoopMe boards that may be responsible for the birth of this new site. The ScoopMe boards are where people need to be. I reiterate that I want to do absolutely nothing that would detract or limit the wonderful creativity that goes on at ScoopMe's Soulful Spike Society board (ATS/JM).

Or, is it the second season. Certainly pre-Blondie-bear. Just watched the episode where they were are reliving their worst nightmares (I finally know what you people were talking about re: Buffy's worst nightmare. This is the first time I saw this episode.) I was struck how Giles, who was unable to read, still understood that he was standing in front of Buffy's grave. It's just a little nitpick. But I must say, Giles was at his utmost uptight-upperclass-Brit and it was really cute. Anyone got some Taster's Choice to go with our Weetabix? Another thought, is there anywhere on the web were we can find those old Taster's Choice commercials? I would love to see them all back to back again.

I can't believe it! My research has turned up the fact that after the serial commercials involving our Anthony Stewart Head as half of the Taster's Choice Couple, there was a book published about the fictional couple called "Love Over Gold" by Susannah James. The investigation into availability of said tome is still in the works, but I will keep you all appraised.
Edited to add:
It is indeed available through Amazon.com for $1.99 + $3.20 shipping and handling

Just got to the web site. Very impressed already!
Two tweakings: it's VHI for the Study of Nosferology not Nosferatu (or more acurately Nosferati) and it's Omsbulgeman. The VHIFSN was kinda my contribution to the initial insanity that R us, but I was just its birth mom. It runs totally by the whim and fiat of the faculty, whose president and Boswell I am proud to be.

Does somebody want to volunteer to buy it and do a book report?

Errp! I guess I have been perpetuating the error in the name of VHISN. (And me the self-appointed unofficial faculty phonebook putter together-er.)
OOOooops, thanks for clearing that one up!

May I say that you are all insane. Mad. Bonkers. Barking. A website. For us.
And how delighted I am to have found you and become part of this lunacy.
Did you want it in rhyme? Ok, here goes:
Vlad built a website for all
Now the Spikees have a place to call
a home from home
over the web we roam
When we meet there we'll all have ball!
