Looks like Sawyer deserves to feel bad.
I think Locke is just trying to stir up trouble.
Don't let Sawyer get water. Tell him it's someone's else "property."

Omigod. I had just written down that I think Sawyer's the one with the death wish and then the pool player guy says that. And, now it looks like Sawyer might get that wish. One kiss, huh?

I really strongly feel Sawyer's story is going to turn out very differently than it appears, even now. I can't BELIEVE Sayid and Jack did that.... I'm so disappointed in them.

I bet the letter is from Sawyer to some guy who conned his parents!!!!
Edit--I guessed right. And, I'm with you, Patti. I can't believe they'd do that, even if it did mean Shannon's life. The medicine will eventually run out anyway, but the eucalyptus won't.

OK - we're going for stream of consciousness again here . . . Yes! You are beginning your Spring-brain-tour! Everyone fasten your seat belts. Extinguish all cigarettes. And please: No wagering. Sawyer shows off the goods. Wow. And may I also add: Wow.
Charlie - why are you cheating on Shannon by flirting shamelessly with Claire?? If the poor girl has an asthma attack and dies a virgin (yeah, that's right, you heard me), it will be all your fault!! KATE(about Sawyer): He says we have a connection. JACK: Do you have a connection? KATE: Please. My goodness, she is polite! KATE (to Sawyer): I've seen you, you know. Mr Sawyer - All naked in front of Kate, and Kate only. Locke - all but naming himself as the assailant, here, under the surface. But on the surface, casting suspicion on Sawyer. Giving Sayid the means by which to kill Sawyer? Oh - how very black and white of him. Divide and conquer?
Sawyer - pushing everyone past the point of civility, bluffing husband-Dave into giving him money. Bluffing them all into giving him what he wants now: Punishment.
Charlie!! Shannon can barely breathe and you're talking about peanut butter with Claire??
DEALS - trades - exchanges -
Michael - not so good with the sushi. KATE: "If you do this . . ." IMPLIED: "You're no better than he is." Well, now, that's Sawyer's whole idea, isn't it? Sawyer - scamming husband and wife. Dangerous, dangerous games - till someone really, really gets hurt. Kate agrees to a kiss: And she goes above and beyond the call of duty!! What a giver! What a soldier for the cause. Sawyer earns himself a little more punishment. Every Sawyer has a death wish. Sawyer would watch Jack die? Another bluff, to get Jack to give him what he wants. Sawyer: Push comes to shove - he can't even take money from a baby. Couldn't go through with it.
Sawyer: Became who he hated, hates himself now. Half-naked and wounded, in front of Kate.

I really strongly feel Sawyer's story is going to turn out very differently than it appears, even now. I can't BELIEVE Sayid and Jack did that.... I'm so disappointed in them. I'm more disappointed in Sayid than I am in Jack. He let Locke play him for a fool because he already disliked Sawyer, and I suspect wasn't concerned as much with Shannon as he was about getting revenge. And now I'm thinking I'm not half as disappointed in Sayid as he is in himself. Poor guy. Jack... Jack let his desperation to heal someone overrule everything else, a mistake I don't think he'll make again. But when it came down to it, he did the right thing by Sawyer twice--first in acting to try and stop Sayid, then by saving his life when no one would have doubted him if he'd said there was nothing he could have done. After all, he could have rid them all of a guy no one liked, not to mention the competition for Kate, by simply letting his thumb slip just a little bit.

It's a first. Just kept wondering why he'd still have the letter. If what he'd done bothered him enough to keep the letter, then why still be such an SOB?

The medicine will eventually run out anyway, but the eucalyptus won't. they didn't' know about the eucalyptus but that's no excuse for torture. and I was right about Sawyer. I knew he wasn't what they were painting. *hugs Sawyer* He is Spike. David Fury said 'we need a Spike - we're calling him Sawyer'.

Creepy trailer. Poor Sayid.
Man, that Kate gets major kissage. Sawyer and now Sayid kisses her hand. I wanna hate her, but I can't.
This show is interesting me, but I think, being on a major network, it makes sacrifices to the mainstream, and though it's good - it's not as good as it could be.

Sawyer was kind of hellbent on proving what he said to Kate last week (paraphrasing): "Jack and I aren't that different." Locke playing Sayid; Sawyer playing Sayid and Jack. Charlie - in a much friendlier, well-intentioned, up front way - playing Claire, about the peanut butter: To get conned, you've got to participate in the ruse, you've got to want to be blinded.

oh man.....poor Sawyer... He is seriously messed in the head! It's very funny that for once I seemed to be having the same reactions as Kate. When he was still saying he would tell if she kissed him, the look on her face was so . . . full of . . . . pity for him. Like she really was thinking how disappointing this was, how . . . . pathetic. And then when he admitted that he didn't ever have the drugs (which I was thinking all along - go me - I kept yelling at the TV, just ask if he actually has them, you dolts!) her snapping to just so mad and thinking he is the biggest idiot on the island. Yep, right there with her. The very first time we see Sawyer do something completely stupid. Finally, when she puts her finger on why he's done this totally stupid thing, I'm still all "yep". Being so invested in his "bad guy" "hate me" persona that he'd rather face torture than just admit he was just reading a book he found and that he isn't the island's drug mastermind! Smack him right now! Lola I haven't really been that into Kate up until now, but this episode. Yep. Same page right all along.
