First impression? Not particularly interesting, except for the last 30 seconds.
Not bad, just kind of boring.

**sings** Hurley and Sawyer, sittin' in a tree. . . . Frankly, Hurley is the only one who is treating Sawyer with . . . I was gonna say respect, and yes, but more like . . . honesty. He's not making assumptions about Sawyer or threatening him or trying to guilt him or appeal to a "better nature" or anything. He just flat out asked him if he'd give him the list and gave a good reason why. Just asked. You know - like someone could have done about the inhalers. Yep. Definitely not just same ol', same ol'. Man! Goooooood episode. Lola Oh, great big eetah. That I liked. The general Hurleyness of the ep I liked.

*Splut!* (Which is the sound of Matthew's head 'sploding) Yeah...Sara thinks more deeply about television than I do. Also, rearranging letters in words makes me want to throw things. So I'll just bask in her brightness instead.

She dug her nails into her palms. He covered that when taping her up. What I disliked is the fact that Jack did not emphasize that he did NOT think that she was making it up, even if he did believe it to be all in her head. She might have responded a lot better to him if he said "I KNOW you believe it: We'll keep a watch on you overnights to make sure you are safe. In the meantime, take these tranquilizers to keep you from going into premature labor" His bedside manner sorta sucks. He's a surgeon; probably never needed one before.

Is that the "it" that killed everyone? Ok - getting a little weird here. Especially after googling 'Ethan Fromme' - and the 'effects of isolation'. Gonna go rewatch and see the part I missed when Claire's boyfriend skipped out on her. Why did he do that? 'Cause he's a big jerk who isn't grown up and is all afraid to be a dad. And I think "it" didn't kill them - Delenn Crazy French Lady did. "It" made them sick, or nuts, or something, and then she put them down. Or else it made HER sick or nuts, and then she murdered them all. Or something.

How do you mean? Angstful births are clicheed? *curious* The screaming, the sweating. the breathing. We've seen it on dozens of TV shows, don't need to see Claire going through it, too. They shot the Marshall because he was suffering, would they shoot Claire if the labor was long and difficult?

They, more than any other speciality, tend to distance themselves from the patients. They don't tend to diagnose, just cut out something that another doctor found.

Looks like we'll see a little Sawyer on Sayid action next week. It looks like there might be some shaving involved. You people are just sick. That's probably why I like y'all so much.

Plus, I think Locke's infected and that's why we keep getting reminded of his dark and light sides, and why Claire dreamt about him.

Like you need an excuse to want to do that. Next you'll be wanting to tie Sawyer to Sayid and spank them both. Well . . . . ;D Yola

Hee! I didn't think about "Charmed" and Wyatt (I skipped last year's episodes), but I had "Roswell" and alien thoughts running rampant. I just rewatched, and really wondered about the couple who wanted to adopt Claire's baby. *some girl's name I couldn't decifer* and *Joseph*. And that whole "could you sing the "Catch a Falling Star" song to my baby?" angle. What is it about this baby? Had to laugh at Shannon's "rape caves" comment. And "Craphole Island". And liked her brother's heads-up idea about the passenger list. The artist boyfriend paralleling Charlie the musician? I suppose Claire is scared to make the same mistake twice, but I felt so sorry for Charlie. Something is very odd with this baby. But I want to know, is the baby itself odd, or only the possible future of baby? Is it already coming out with tentacles and claws, or just that psychic guy saw it becoming, like Hitler when it grew up? Or did he see danger to the baby, like being experimented on while stranded on an island, rather than danger from the baby? "Rape caves" was classic! I kinda like Shannon when she is sassy, tough talkin', take crap from no one Shannon. Rather than, say, whiney stupid Shannon. I felf sorry for Charlie too. I mean, I was sorta laughing at him, but also sorry. Lola

First impression? Not particularly interesting, except for the last 30 seconds. Not bad, just kind of boring. Really? I liked pretty much all of it. The stuff with Hurley. The growing creepyness about the baby. The gathering of names and so on. The dream vision of Locke. Claire's backstory. Lola

Although I do agree with Matthew that he could/should have handled it differently with Claire, I think he just doesn't know how. Plus, I think his personality is to be a bit distant (probably why being a surgeon worked for him) - especially with his childhood family life and all. Lola
