Things gonna go kaboom! now... Heroes, my ass. So is he gonna shoot his buddy there in the head? Well, this is not the best time to tell him..... Oh lord. I would be pissed too. Gonna have to shoot him. Nope, he got the drop on Sayid... Huh. Go! I'm gonna stagger off the aftereffects of your ill-timed mickey fin behind you!! Well, thats the great thing to tell the woman with the gun (not thinking rationally). Jack, your authority comes home to roost.. oh crap. WHAT? Well, there went the Shanyid thing. So what did he have in his shirt? oh, it was a graze. I thought he was wearing armor. LOL! I thought the same - about the armor. It did look like he got shot in the chest. I wonder if Sayid was ever told of Nadia's whereabouts.

Aw, Sawyer. The baby loves your sexy southern drawl. Hear that Patti? Our Sawyer, the baby soother. I'm not surprised one bit. Patti could always pick 'em. Good lookin', sassy and troubled, snarky and sexy, and good with the little ones.

LOL! I thought the same - about the armor. It did look like he got shot in the chest. I wonder if Sayid was ever told of Nadia's whereabouts. OMG! Told about her whereabouts and then . . . he switches planes so he can claim the body. Another one who wasn't supposed to be on the plane, but was. I wonder if he was taking the body with him - like Jack and his dad?

But I am very suspicious that Sayid didn't tell the others. And why is it just him and Jack and Locke in the preview? Don't tell me they still keep it secret! What is that hatch making them do?

I'm very worried about all his suggestions concerns about the raft.

I'm trying to fit it to the larger arc. Caught between two friends. Sacrifice one to save the other. Forced to do something you don't want to do by a larger group. Infiltrating a group through deceipt. So many things that might apply. How will the story end, though? That's crucial. Locke/Sayid parallel: Doing it so he can be whole again. (The island is Locke's love!)

Am having major brain blockage. I think I shot my wad on finishing up the VM review on that chock-full-of-happenings VM ep. I'd better go to bed. I think sleep will bring some inspiration and clarification of what I saw in this ep. It sure seemed to be about . . . the way individual motives and acts inform the big picture, if you know what I mean. Guns (force) vs trickery (mickey in drink, Sayid tricking Assam) vs gentle persuasion (Sawyer's drawl, Sayid's quiet interrogation of Locke). Walking vs driving/cars. Selfish vs selfless motives; Love vs vengeance/crossover thereof. Lots o stuff. You are getting LOST in Spring's brain! Acck. I am soooo damn tired. Vlad, if you see this, I sent you an IM. Also, get some sleep. Good night, my friends!

Random:
Speaking of babies. 44 now left? How many men? How many women? How many condoms?
Any body know the rythm method?
And where is the black lady (sorry I forget her name). I miss her. She had some good common sense.
==============
Shannon---bleah. Sayid is far better off without her.
Talk about "it's all about me, me, me, me." She's only mad at Locke because he took away her toy/minion (Boone). Now who will mindlessly worship her?

Am I the only one here who thinks that the shot that grazed Locke's head tonight is not the shot we've seen in promo/previews, where he appears to have been shot in the ribs or chest, and falls? I think that's being saved for the last episode of the season - and I think it's Jack who's going to pull the trigger. Normally, I wouldn't peg Jack for a killer, he's so into being a doctor. But tonight, when Locke was shot, Jack didn't even try to look at the wound, which, as shot to the head, should have been examined. Jack also appeared to have a peculiar gleam in his eye when he focussed on Locke after the gunshot; which could be ascribed to Jack's lack of sleep, or something else.
Good flashback sequences with Sayid; the actor playing him is one of the best on the show...
As Sue mentioned, the black lady is very much missed. I also wonder what everyone is eating, and how they're getting it - is there any agriculture, cultivation going on, any forays to shake down coconuts or whatever? When was the last time Locke brought home the bacon to anyone? They need to have a leader who is going to start organizing things so everyone isn't totally dependent on Jack and Sun for medicine and Locke for fresh meat - lessons, training, etc. The black lady could be teaching the kid, not to mention calming Charley down while he's babysitting little Turnip (who is the world's largest newborn, btw ;D)...
