If they kill Vincent, I'll stop watching the show. No reason why they should kill him.
I'm surprised poor Vinnie hasn't lost weight - what's the poor dog eating? Fruit? Glad they're not starving the dog in RL, though...
Vincent is cute in a big-dog goofus way; and he makes a dandy instrument of the Powers That Be or whoever.
GAIL Well, there's some protein in fish. Obviously I wasn't serious with regard to Vincent being among the possibilities for character death. I must say, though, it always interests me that fictional dogs and cats seem to mean more than fictional humans. Not judging at all, by the way; I have the exact same feelings. I suppose it's due to their innocence; dogs are pure of heart. I've noticed that, as well...and don't feel the same way. I know they didn't actually kill an animal, so I don't really have any reaction to the deaths of animals on television. And in no aspect of my life (fictional or otherwise) do the deaths of animals mean more than the deaths of humans. Occasionally, they're equivalent.

Lost 2x05 _________ Be good if the 'tailies' managed to get back with the rest of the people on the Island. Holland Manners looks rough. Mike ran off for Walt. How silly. Or did that woman hit him and tie him up, is she pulling an 'Ethan' ? Mr Obi or whatever he's called is awsome. Good actor, he was good in 'Oz'. sheesh that dead body was freaky. When Mr Obi asked Jin if he had a wife he said 'yes, you?'... erm thought he couldn't speak English... this another dream sequence? I know your mad Sun but don't destroy the food It wasn't a dream sequence... why did Jin speak English? LEGS, LEGS OF MULTIPLE PEOPLE. OMG Oh so maybe he's picking up bits of English, talking the odd word here and there. Jin quit the job, yay for him. Sun told Kate about the bottle. Don't split up, NEVER SPLIT UP. Oh god the next Lost looks so good!

And I totally agree with the NEVER split up thing!

I think that many people seemed to forget that Michael is very concerned for Walt. His son had been snatched from his very hands - and in a brutal manner. His behavior seemed very understandable, at least to me. When parents believe that their children are in danger or lost, they have a tendency to act in a very irrational and almost ruthless manner. Michael wasn't being immature. He is merely experiencing a great deal of anxiety and other emotional turmoil for his only son.

I think we're gonna keep seeing him swinging wildly in his moods - like his anger at Sawyer on the raft, blaming him for Walt's kidnapping, and then his breakdown the next morning, blaming himself. Neither one of which are "right" - the blame of course belongs to the ones that took him. But with no guilty party in front of him, he lashes out. I also think we're gonna keep seeing him strike out on his own or with other volunteers trying to find Walt. I know I would be going crazy wanting to just do something! It would be so frustrating and painful to feel like there was nothing you could do. I wonder if there are weapons or tracking systems or something like that stored somewhere in the bunker? Something that the groups could use to protect themselves and also search out the Others and grab back anyone that they are holding.

Now that Michael has received a message from Walt (if that was Walt), he is going to be more determined than ever to get his son back. I suspect that his actions will be nothing in compare to what he had done in this episode.
Also, this episode was the second time that Sun had witnessed Kate resorting to manipulation for personal reasons. I cannot help but wonder if Sun will start doubting Kate.

I can see him stopping at nothing to try and get to him. I hadn't thought about Sun and Kate that way. They've built a good friendship, but you're right. How many times can you see questionable behavior before you, well . . . start questioning the person.
