This is a heck of an interesting idea. If I only had one question for anyone it would be for Sarah. Here goes:
You've stated in the past that when your time on the show is over you'd have no interest in doing a big screen series of films a few years down the road ala Star Trek. If you were willing to make Scooby Doo and contractually commit yourself to a sequel, don't you think you owe it to yourself and the fans to be open to that idea? I mean really, the only thing you've done outside of BTVS that even approaches the same level of quality is Cruel Intentions. You were incredibly lucky to find someone who could write for you, someone who matched your amazing range and talent when you were just 19 years old. You're smart enough to know that it doesn't grow on trees. I've seen your movies Sarah, and read your comments about Hollywood. Pardon me for saying this, but outside of the aforementioned Cruel Intentions, which was decent, everything you've done is weak and formulaic at best. Your luminious presence is the only thing that kept me watching, and the entire time I couldn't help but think you deserved better. In short, here are my thoughts, illustrated with an example: Sigourney Weaver has had a well rounded, well respected career in film and managed to make 4 Alien films in the meantime. She had the rare opportunity to cash in and do quality work at the same time. Don't you think that's actually a pretty good scenario for you?

Yes! If SMGs future is determined by the "success" of Scoobie Doo and Scoobie Doo, the Sequel: HuH? Anything Joss gives you to do on Buffy is Shakespeare compared to that. Worried about being type cast? Who cares? You're a beautiful athletic actress with great physical presence. No one is going to hire you to do Streetcar Named Desire. Do the movie.

Vlad, Half my gay friends say he isn't gay. (It's some sort of radar, what can I say?) The other half would do anything, an..y..thing to have that be true.

LOL! I was just being a snot. I gotta do SOMETHING to keep the estrogen levels around here at somewhat tolerable levels.
Actually it's not really for me, but you know how Rob gets. *jsut shakes his head* So insecure, that one is.

Vlad - you shoulda kept that "imp" part to your name.
Any actor who has bleached blonde hair and works on his body and is that good-looking is going to be subject to "he's gay" rumors. I wondered about it the first time I saw Spike, even though he doesn't come off as effeminate (Spike or James). But hey, he's an actor. And had dyed hair (I really didn't know at that point that it wasn't the actor's decision). And he was so pretty.
But then I read about what sounded like a marriage and some fairly long term romances - and also his unwillingness to talk about his son. If he was a gay guy trying to hide it, he'd be trotting his kid out at every opportunity. At least, the one and only closet-gay guy I ever knew used to do this kind of thing. He didn't have a child, but he had a "girlfriend" who didn't mind being a "beard", and he was always "using" her for cover. If he had had a child, that poor thing would have been showcased! But who knows.
RUSTY - interesting about his CD being uncomfortable to listen to. I did read somewhere that he wrote and sang songs in it about the pain of a break-up he'd been through, and it actually sort of put me off. I haven't purchased it - I'm not sure why. It's almost like I don't really want to know that much about him.

Ok, I asked for it on that pathetic plea count. Keep it up and I'll start sending NC-17 Buffy/Xander fics. Well.... ok, maybe not. :-) Off to write chapter 6....

I think Sarah can be the next Julianne Moore if she's given the chance. In fact, I think everyone in the cast is capable of doing big things outside of BTVS. I'm just baffled by Sarah dismissing the idea out of hand. She can pretty much call her own shots in her film career if she has the financial benefit of getting big-ass paydays every few years doing Buffy movies. In my humble opinion this show's following is going to grow increasingly avid and numerous as years go by. Four or five years down the road a Buffy movie would do solid box office, especially if you factor in the international market.

That was mean, Vlad, really mean. I have the calendar of him and everything.
Now what am I going to do with all those leftover, complicated fantasies, huh? Huh? HUH? Okay, hmmmm, there's always Matthew McConnaghey. Never mind.
P.S. I saw your later posts and know he's not gay. Just returning the favor for getting all our thongs in a twist. (Wicked smile goes here.)

Usually I'm not one for brevity, but I'd simply go, "Hey, Sarah - I got two words for ya: 'David Caruso'!" You could also then refer her to this webpage for more frightening evidence or to refresh her memory: www.robisworried.com/david_caruso.htmMiss Pamela

Spring said, "I would ask James: "Could you please move your hands and hold still for a few minutes?"
Okay, as usual, I have no clue to what you refer. I guess you need to draw me one of Giles' stick figure pictures here. I would have thought you would have wanted him to move his hands, yes, but *not* hold still (she said, doing the backstroke in the gutter).
Oh, wait. I think I get it. You are going to try out the invisitape and you want him to move his hands away from the measurement area (clunks her forehead). Does it make a difference if he is aware you are measuring? I would have thought in most men that would make an immediate difference...

Okay, this might be easier than I thought... still, not wanting to waste valuable "ScoopMe!" space, I thought this might be an appropriate picture just to test including an image in a post here:
Disclaimer: This comes from my OWN darn webspace, so if you don't like it, TOO BAD! Spike and/or James, however, can (pleeeeease) BITE ME! ;-)
