"A choice."? Just what kind of choice did Claire really have? Rain - seems like it always starts raining when they get close to an island secret. Of course, when they find something, it just generates more questions. Which makes me wonder about the song playing in the mobile, as it starts: Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day... For when your troubles startn’ multiplyin’, An' they just might! It’s easy to forget them without tryin’, With just a pocketful of starlight!Brings back memories of my childhood. I love Perry Como. He's mellow. Another quote - this one from Quantum Leap: You're out of control Sam.
In case you haven't noticed, it's been a long time since I've been in control.-- Al and Sam, "Catch a Falling Star"

infection --> evil baby? Rousseau was ominious. Ooh, the anticipation... Like Eko giving food to the guy in the pit. What did Eko just do? Eko vs Sayid's treatment of Henry. Aaron and Claire. Aw.... He heard through the door? Really? So, which one are you? Henry's getting to Locke! Spooky!!!!!! He's definitely up to no good. I'm really shocked he got to Locke. I mean, it was pretty obvious. Locke must be sooooo much more upset inside than he is letting show to have it get to him that much and that fast.

Fake beard on BOG! Costumes! I can't trust anything is real! Those could be surgeon costumes. Or an Island Smoke Monster costume! Yeah! Like a big black feather boa! Only deadly.

Yep, saved her pretty much the same way: like mother, like daughter: knocked her ass out. "Know what must be done" Yeah, Rousseau. "Well, there you go" is about all you can say. "What is it for?" (The alarm) #metoo# And really, it's an effective way of saying "yes I know you are an Other, 'cuz I'm sending them a message through you". But he also seems to really mean it. Yup. I'm figuring they used that angle to work her. **nods** Good point. ;D Preggers (and foreshadowed by the whole "I don't have a child" thing) or is she getting "sick"?

Henry is very very dangerous. What did CFL tell Sayid? "Don't believe anything he says." **nods** Eko said it best. "Stop talking."

Yeah. I mean, all the literary and cultural references mean something, so why this particular comparison? I think I could tease out the meaning of the reference if I knew more about Hemingway and Dostoevsky, but I meant the in story reason. I mean, Locke just starts spouting off to Jack and doesn't really come to any sort of point. Though maybe seeing to the end of the episode, Locke's always been trying to make himself seem larger than life. Hunting and profound advice and whatnot, when his life has been really mundane. So maybe all this literature stuff was part of that. **nods** I can see that. I'm gonna have to watch it again to try and see what Locke was trying to do in talking about them to Jack.

And there we are. Another bunker. Um. I wouldn't just go in there if I were you . . . with only one gun . . . They are quite brave. I wonder where Charlie was - he must have given up watching Claire like a hawk. I kept expecting him to show up to take care of the baby. Oh - and Claire jinxed Sun when she asked her 'Why - are you a mom?' I figured if anyone was going to get pregnant, it would be Sun. So - what do you think the Others were really injecting into Claire's baby? It could be anything - so many possibilities!! Of course, my favorite idea is that it is nothing at all. Just placebo and part of the experiment. Maybe even the Ethan/BOG others don't know what it really is?

Interesting, wasn't it? I think, in an odd psychotic way he kinda was. I didn't catch it. I'm waiting for the screencappers out there to post something in the next day or so. It was a red Caduceus. (medical symbol: stick with snakes. Mercury's wand.) Huh. Mercury there: Zeus is symbolized as a swan, an arrow stands for Apollo... wonder if the other stations will have an ox, a bow, or other greco-roman symbols. So, they're mixing their mythologies?

Ah. nothing like psychotically flickering flourescent lights to make things so much more noir. And wow, Kate found the Jenny quick.. Or did she? I guess she did, as she's not freaking out about the lights being on. Theatrical glue... BEARD!!! SCORE!!!! Yup. You guys were right! Or even just nothing at all. Part of the behavioral experimentation thingee. Oh! The whole thing might have been staged - including Claire's 'escape' and Rousseau showing up to find her in the jungle. Hmm. Hmm. Maybe the scratches on Ethan were only make-up. Gaah.

Potions - choose them or thrash them, you can't prod them.
Even the RSG is getting in on the fun!

I absolutely loved this episode!!!
I really like Libby! she is growing on me faster everytime she is onscreen!! I think she worked at the psych ward while hurley was there. they better not make her into a bad person
why did they leave that hatch after only a few months?
Why the fake beard? what is the reason? why does he need it?
I knew the girl was alex! I love the fact she is still alive!
really confused about eko...I just knew he was going in there and coming out with all the info this guy knew and doing it without torture. but then he confessed to him..could be a way to tell him I know your an other..but it really took me by surprise they went that way!
overall I think one of the best eps of this season!
oh and they are so setting up sun to Miscarriage or lose the baby in some way! IMO
