Good show! I was afraid when you said you were going that....you actually had! You would win willpower of the month award. Now--do you want a small description of the Buffy-relevent Angel part, or not? I'm sure the info will be self-explanatory. Not every Buffy watcher even attempts to watch Angel so they'll have to put some explanation in.

yes please . . .want more!! ///// a small description of the Buffy-relevent Angel part ///// my will power seems to be selective at best. I can refrain from reading most spoilers about the Finale for buffy and angel, BUT Leave the boards long enough to get some packing done? or even avoid that chocolate cake at lunch? forget it! [laugh] thanks for any info you care to share, Sue!!

You are so evil, Patti! Like I'm going to know that!! Like how many years has it been since I've seen The Jerk! I've been reading some of these obscure references you guys have been quoting, and to tell you the truth you all are starting to scare me!! The name of Steve Martin's dog, indeed!

That is he first time I have posted on any message board other than this one since I joined the S'cubies. I don't even go near the Episode board any more. There's enough to read over here, especially since we're growing so fast. Plus certain people over there annoy the heck out of me. I'm not sure if my post is going to be well received. More likely it'll be ignored, which is better than being attacked, I suppose. Either way, my two cents' worth are there.

Shannon, Sorry I took so long. Walked the dog and the kid came home from school. At one point during the finale Angel is offered an amulet and (I think) an envelope (?) which he is told will be helpful to Buffy. At the end of the show he is carrying those items. That's about it. Sue

Hey, Rob. So you're a newbie, too? It's a little intimidating joining an established group like this but everyone seems really nice and they don't ignore you when you post something, which is polite. I think I could feel at home here. But for now... I'll let the vets do most of the talking. I'm still trying to figure out half the things they're talking about!!! Welcome, Rob!!

Thanks for that, Sue! I totally missed that part. Of course, driving home from work in a wicked thunderstorm and watching Angel on a mini-battery operated television might have something to do with that! Accident be damned! Like I could miss the finale!!

Betsy said: //driving home from work in a wicked thunderstorm and watching Angel on a mini-battery operated television // Betsy-- you put the "atic" in fan-atic! (Oh yeah, and someone else will mention it in a minute, but Rob is pretty much a "founding father", er brother, er S'cubie. I believe he just meant that he hadn't posted elsewhere (i.e. on other parts of the board--like "episodes" or "news" in quite a while. But he had taken Vlad's request to heart (see post #284) and posted on the news article. But you were really sweet to welcome him anyway. When you get the time go to the website and read his fiction : "Truths". The first two parts are complete and he is working on the third part. It's great!) // From Rob's post over THERE: The last thing we are is snobbish. We even have a Kennedy fan. No, really. I'm serious. If we can handle that, we can deal with anything. :-) // Rob... that was great!

Hardee har har! It is to laugh. Hey, maybe you can answer this question for me. I did my profile for the Scubie deal, now where in the heck do I go to access that and all the other files about all the other Scubies? Can you tell I don't usually surf the web?

Go to: www.geocities.com/scubiefan/Either type, or copy and paste that into your address. (Or you can click on page 1 at the top of the posting list--that will bring up Alexandra's welcome message and there is a direct link there: just click on "S'cube Web Site") When the site comes up click on enter. (I know too obvious and simple, but it's the kind of stuff I always need to be told.) Just play around all over the website, but if it is the profiles in particular you want look down (scroll down if necessary) at the bottom of the site (perhaps just a little to the right of center) and click on "Profile of a S'cubie". For the fiction (and several of our S'cubies have produced some fine works) click on "Fanfictional". Everything is pretty self-explanatory. Vlad's done a great job of making it all accessible. Have fun.
