For those getting it by e-mail, I first sent it without the attachment, then noticed and sent a second post WITH the attachment. So don't panic if you first see the post with no attachment. This was a hard one to wrestle into submisson.

Anne said: 'I've missed being part of a group like this for a while, and I'm glad I found you all. You have certainly made me feel welcome from the beginning. Thank you!' I think that's how we ALL feel about this place. I know it's kind of home to me. And Rob, not to be completely redundant, but very nice post - I'm proud of us too. We did Vlad proud on the mission today! Kinda feel like a soldier or something!

Julie brilliantly noted: 'I'm not sure if I skipped over this while skimming, and somebody brought it up already, but I think it's funny that Spike is replacing Cordelia, AGAIN. Because Cordy left after season three of Buffy, and Spike came on, and I think at some point Joss said that he pictured Spike as kind of taking over Cordelia's role as the truthteller of the group.' Julie, that is such a good call! I had not thought of it, but that is exactly what happened. How full circle that it happened again!

Shannon posted: 'have you read the book by William Gibson?!? it's great! The movie is a patchwork from a few of his books centered around the cyberpunk world he created.' Shannon, thanks for the info on William Gibson. I will check him out.

David theorized: 'It almost sounds as if someone somewhere has Time and David confused. Funny, they don't look a thing alike.' I expect you may be right - it was a confusion of names. If so, I'm quite happy, David Greenwalt has been with Joss forever and I know he will be very happy to have him back.

Spring said:'I would still feel like the show's setup was betrayed if she "choses" Spike.' I will feel betrayed if the show's message is that a woman can't be strong and whole and still have love.

Dave said: 'Then of course, Buffy could be severely dismembered, ensuring she'll not be returning from the dead ever again, Angel and Spike can both see this happen, and then they can spend the whole of next season drowning their sorrows at the Host's newly rebuilt Caritas. ' I could live with this.

Dave - My speculations on why Buffy won't choose either Angel or Spike were just meant to tease you. As I said, I think she's going, one way or another, to "choose Buffy." And it won't mean she doesn't love them both. I have no idea how, specifically, such a thing would happen - it's just what "fits" to me.
