Well, at least we've finally established that Sawyer has strong feelings for Kate, he's not just conning her, and that Kate reciprocates. And Sawyer actually had enough decency to set up money for a child who may or may not be his, with no way to get any credit in return.
Other than that, the captivity of Jack and Kate and Sawyer is continuing to frustrate and disappoint me. I wish they'd get out of there already.
Maybe the writers want those three sidelined from the other Losties so the latter can get more screen time without distractions such as shirtless Sawyer or pouting Kate or whatever.
I figured out that Sawyer's exploding heart was a con by his captors long before he was told - the Others, who can't even rustle up the paddles Jack needed in the hospital, would have the technology needed to put a bomb inside Sawyer's chest connected with his heart rhythm?
At least the bunny wasn't really dead.
I really liked last week's episode much better.
Best moments tonight: When Jack resisted Juliet's tedious blandishments, and Sawyer's punching Benry in the mouth.
Is the distance between the two islands really so far that a strong, athletic man couldn't swim across on a calm day? Didn't look like it to me.
I miss the Crazy French Lady, not to mention Vincent.

I will never, ever, forgive Ben for what he did to that bunny. Never. Bunnies aren't as cute as everybody supposes. I mean, among other things, what do they need such good eyesight for, anyway? I don't know about anyone else, but I was totally expecting a Monty Python moment there. "Oh, it's just a cute little bunny rabbit, in'it?"

Okay, I think they're lying about the pacemaker, myself. I mean, could they really install a pacemaker without cutting more of his chest than that? I was thinking that myself. Maybe the watch is set off by remote control. Poor Sawyer. Can't even look, let alone touch. I haven't seen the last ten minutes, yet, but...a wristwatch-type heart monitor would be easy to pull off, without any required pacemaker.... ETA: Toldja. I never thought much of the whole "we'll kill you with a pacemaker" bluff. Especially since, as we saw, THEY HAVE NO SURGEON. But if it's your heart, you don't so much have the luxury of testing the theory. To bed now....

It means 'big jerk', more or less. Streaming ep thoughts: We have to get that guy another button to push. cartoons - swans and a vulture Juliet/Jack - blueberry the others have a situation what to i have to do, talk about your mother? our team Sawyer's smiling over the woman getting shot - Danny Pickett's woman - wife. The big kahuna - Benry is pretty spry for a little guy. Clementine Of Mice and Men A guy gets too lonely and he gets sick.

Oh, good point that they don't have a surgeon, although we didn't find that out until a bit later.

That's what I thought, but the mom *is* from New Mexico. It also means 'merciful'.

A sado masochistic little eff. Nope, just sadistic. Doesn't really show any interest in hurting himself. Except for the part last season when he deliberately put himself in the position to be captured and subsequently tortured by the Losties and all for what?

I want an escape or else I want to be told more of what the heck the Others are really doing / wanting. (Even if we're told it but the captives aren't.) Because otherwise I'm gonna go through the screen and punch someone like Sawyer did. ;D **nods** I was suspicious from the start (just because the Others aren't telling the truth about virtually anything), but the operation clinched it for me. Well, distances can be deceiving at sea, not to mention the tides and so on. But the whole separate island thing does have me re-thinking things. Like, is the Other suburb on this island or "our" island? Do they have nothing modern built on "our" island, and only go there when they feel like putting on tattered clothes and playing silly games? Are the tattered children that were wandering around the Tailies side of "our" island Other play-actors, or are they really some group of lost kids over there? It's reawakened my "are there more groups of people than we thing" musings.
Yes! ;D

All fuzzy and cute and then it tears through the bars and bites off someone's head. ;D

Except for the part last season when he deliberately put himself in the position to be captured and subsequently tortured by the Losties and all for what? **nods** I think he's got a bit of a martyr complex "oh poor complicated me, no one really understands what I'm doing for such good reasons, which of course you don't know because I won't tell you because I like being the guy who knows more than you" thing going on. Um. But it may just be that he's "pushing my buttons", so to speak.
