Beep beep beep beep beep.. "We both know your father, and the only way he'll let Karl live is if you're here when he wakes up" Pragmatic idealist, seems like. Alex is cute, even if she is eight pounds or so. And has been through hell. Tell him NOW?! Then she won't have any "safe conduct:" Juliet or whoever will be free to detain you, and you'll believe that they've escaped... All that for a moving moment? Yeesh. Way to screw up your security procedures, Kate. Quick, run, Kate, y'all are on WAY borrowed time. So Sawyer, Kate, and Karl escape in the Call-It-Courage-Mobile. Wonder if one of the pieces of paperwork is gonna be an invoice for a bus "accident" "Until they figure out what to do with you" yes, please, Juliet, tell us what he said.. ARGH! I agree with Jack! Tell us, woman!!!! Ethan? Yep, Ethan. They're so serious that they've been stalking you. Yep. Mega-stalking. So what is the deal with her sister? Parthenogenesis? I figured that was what the title was... So WHAT DID HE SAY?! She had to let him live AND help Jack? So she sold him out. Benry is still playing freakin' chess.

She successfully impregnated a male fieldmouse? *boggling* These people with the Dharma initiative? Ooooh, you got that vibe too? Yeah, I was wondering about that myself . . . Seriously creepy. **bounces** I was thinking about the Teddy Bear clan too! Somehow the underground hidey hole of Alex's seemed very Teddy Bear Clan, very Lost Boys, very Lord of the Flies.

I have to give up on this show. It just isn't "doing it" for me.
S'cubie Lost fans: I wish you many years of fun watching!
Time to go to bed. Hugs!

I'm almost at the point that Spring is. I am quite sick of the Others, and think there's been much too much attention paid to them; when what I at least wanted was answers about why they're there and what they're doing, not several months of having them brutalize Kate and Sawyer and play mind-games. And it seems to me they're trying to make Juliet more sympathetic; and I'm not buying.
Plus, the introduction of the Tailies with so much effort last year, only to kill off virtually all of them except Bernard, who we haven't seen at all lately.
If Juliet's sister was so ill, why would she be trying to conceive a child at that point? Is it right to get pregnant when one is dying, or going to die, or terribly ill?
All in all, I prefer Heroes - at least there aren't as many annoying flashbacks, and I like the characters better.
I suppose I'll tune back in to Lost, but I am rapidly losing patience with the show. And there's been no sign of Vincent! Maybe he's with Rose and Bernard.

"Do you want Ben to die?" "I know Ben would rather die than let them go." Really? I mean, yeah, maybe she is lying about what Ben said. (Although why when she was the one who first said it was OK to kill them?)
And seriously. Sometimes people say "I'd rather die" or "I'd die first", but then if faced with actual death . . ? Well. Some of the "I'd rathers" become a little less important, I'd think.
Oh, trying to get the sister pregnant. Duh!! I should have guessed that from the mouse thing.
Aaaaand that looks like Ed's bus in the distance. Yep. Right on schedule. Those were Dharma folks alright. Now, if she does take the job, kind of knowing they arranged for her ex to get squished . . . ethically challenged is a good word for it.
Jack distracted during surgery? Or skills rusty? Or maybe just it's really difficult to do this surgery with no one else helping?
Woah. Juliette takes out Danny. Should have listened to her, dude. Then again, Danny wanted them dead so bad that he wouldn't have listened to anyone, I think.

Whoa. Benry giving directions while his back is cut open. That's Alex/Sheena? Juliet's ex is a sweet fella. Interesting that she and Ethan had met before in Miami. Hmmm..

Yep - he needs a surgical assistant. Well, it would be nice if it were someone that can stand the sight of blood, but you can't have everything. And I called another one. They aren't going to let Alex go. Seems like a rather extreme case of daddy not liking the young man his daughter is seeing, if you ask me. And so the story he told way back then is all appropriate to now and stuff. The surgery gone wrong, but then he saves the patient, getting over your fear, etc. That was kinda dumb actually, Kate. You should have waited until you were out to sea before talking to Jack. 'Cuz I kept waiting for Juliette to shoot you guys before you pushed off. I mean, you could always have dropped the walkie talkie overboard if you were worried about it being used to track you. Jack. So noble. Promise me you won't come back! Sob some more, Kate! Beat your noble breast and rend your garment, Jack! Sob! Noble! Sob! Noble! Quick, Sawyer, take your clothes off. OK, that really has nothing to do with the plot, I just wanted someone to give me a little skin. Someone other than Benry, that is. Yep. I was right about lab guy, standing there with Ethan. Um. She doesn't blame herself, but I think she sure has some questions about you. He knows about the pregnancy too. So, did she join willingly and then it got ugly or did they make her join? Now we know they're holding her on the island, so it wouldn't be that surprising if they coerced or forced her originally.

I'm thinking something like that. And/or her ability to stay pregnant was destroyed by chemo and this somehow "fixed" that? Mind games, I tell ya. It's all mind games.

It's definitely feeling a bit thin for me too by now. This ep was a bit . . . flat. I wish they'd take a few tips from Heroes about how to run a lot of multiple storylines with all your cast. Successfully. In each ep. Keep things more interesting and keep you invested in the people and the plot(s). 'Cuz I really miss the other island folks. I'm gonna keep sticking with the show at least for this season, 'cuz I want to see what's going on with our original Losties. But they better get back to them and give them screen time, dammit!

**nods** I'll hang in there, 'cuz I think we're finally getting back to "our" island. But it's been tough. The main fault was in taking up so much time with the Others. They did not need this much time to tell the amount of story that they did.

It was a good show, I will be glad next week when we get back to Hurley, Locke, Desmond, Jin & Sun.
I agree there has been WAY too much time spent on the others, I hope they fuse the 2 together a little more, I am tired of 1 episode set totally on the others and not progressing anything else. I have waited almost 3 months , they need to quit fooling around and either wrap up this "others" storyline or fuse the others together with the the "Main Island", so we dont have to wait 2 or 3 episodes to advance separate storylines.
Or better yet, how bout answering some questions instead of creating new ones, not all the questions mind you , but a few would be nice
OH and I cant wait for Alex to find out that Danielle is her mother , and Ben is not her real father! That should be very very interesting!

I agree - and thought so all along - that they were forcing Juliet to do their bidding. I just can't see them letting her get off the island alive, tho, after all she's seen. Unless they can do some kind of mindwiping.
