Here it be: the place to discuss tonight's episode.
*heads over to Wiki to refresh her memory as to plot of Heinlein book*
And here's something else to mull over as you watch...
From Exodus 2:
17And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.
18And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?
19And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.
20And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.
21And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.
22And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

That's what I thought it was referring to; where the book title came from.

"Show me the way to go home....." With an outrigger, they can circumnavigate the island. Cool!
Kate, you can't go back!
"God loves you as he loved Jacob"
Having just read that portion of the bible? That would really really suck. Just sayin'.
"Glass houses" Who are they to talk about that crap?
And Juliet is imprisoned.

Such a beautiful shot of Sawyer and Kate on the ocean. Well, and wacked out mindwashed boy, too. Loved Sawyer's delivery of "OK. Thanks for the input." ;D I guess I think they are right to leave. Not only would they ruin everything Jack planned for if they got captured again, but also they have the other kid to think of. They grabbed him out of a very not good place and it would be horrible to risk him getting put back there. Moving Jack "someplace else". "What kind of people do you think we are?" Oh, yay, thank you Jack for your speech to the Other guy!!! Because yeah, the folks on the plane may have done some crappy things in their past, but dude, the stuff you Island guys are doing? Ooooh, Juliet is a prisoner now - 'cuz she shot whats-his-name? And she's trading places with Jack.

"Show me the way to go home....." With an outrigger, they can circumnavigate the island. Cool! It is a most excellent thing to bring back to their camp. Very valuable! Really! I mean, please! I wonder if her deal with Benry will still hold now that she shot that guy? Something tells me Benry won't care one way or the other about a death, but it would be a good excuse to not let her leave.

Jack is in Thailand. With no tattoos.
Can't put it together.
Bai!
Achara.
So why was he beach-bumming in Thailand?
And he's been put in the Fishcuit cage!
"Juliet grilled these for me" Complaining, Jack?
The Sherriff?
Heh, and Jack cuts Mr. Friendly off quickly.
Uh, I gotta go with Kate on this one: no polar bears in the canoe with you.
"No James, I ain't hungry"
"Just where we work"
So the village WAS on the main island, it wasn't a CGI goof!
And this is supposed to explain the clan of the Teddy Bear?
"Better than yours"?
"Ursa Theodorus" "The Teddy Bear"
Poke the button.
Poke the button.
No third poke!
Juliet under guard.
Well, Juliet, you already saw what good Ben's promises are. Huh, maybe she wants him to pull through because she thinks he'll keep his promise.
OH! that's right, she killed the guy who had the bug up his ass about Sawyer, displacing (is that the right word?) about his dead wife that Sun shot.

Juliet's sister was named Rachel, which was also the name of Jacob's wife.

I like her hair like that. it's pretty with the feather look.
Okay, they're in Thailand: why are they eating with chopsticks? Oh, noodles.
"One hell of a gift"
Chinese ideograms on his arms? Were they in China, Hong Kong?
The Sheriff.
Isabel.
Inquest.
Jack is just completely amused by all of this. And is a talented storyteller. Is his little nervous laugh his "tell"?

Jack must have realized Juliet killed someone to help Kate and Sawyer, though—it's the only time/circumstance where such a thing could have taken place since Ben's surgery started.

Hey, it's a FlashJack! Kite on the beach? Pretty. Convenient giggling kite-building beach bunny? Well, she looks . . . . available. Jack's in the polar bear cage. The more things change, the more they stay the same, I guess. His surgical helper is very intrigued by Jack. I think I tend to agree with Sawyer. Paddling at night sounds a bit too dangerous. You can always head back out on the water and go further around the island the next day. Shouldn't fight because you're lucky to be alive. It's a good point the kid makes. Hmmmm. They work on the other island, they live on this one. Underground and underwater subway system, I'm tellin' you. They're a suburban commuter society!! Giving the kids a "better life". Against their wills of course, but then I'm sure they're convinced they're doing the right thing. OMGWTFTEDDYBEAR!!!! Oh, that is just too too perfect. ;D And Kate and Sawyer learn about the island suburbs, complete with cosy back yards to star gaze in. A personal favor. For Juliette. Ah ha ha ha ha!! **wipes eyes, tries to stop chuckling** Oh, wait a minute. She meant that seriously?
