So here we got the 'intro' to Alyson Hannigan's role...hope she turns up soon.
We knew his mom wasn't dead, didn't we? And how many missing persons/murders/family cirises can Veronia solve at once, and how many can I keep track of? Waaaaa!!!

Who is doing the review this week? Ok - checked the site...must be Spring.
I think this one is going to be not so fun to review.
Didn't dislike the episode...I always always enjoy Logan on the screen, and all scenes with Veronica and her dad, but surely I wasn't the only one who knew from the beginning that the brother was pulling a scam. Wasn't sure if the daughter was in on it, but there were just way too many dark and sulky looks from the son...big huge clues all over this one.

"Here's your costume" Aaron seems to have lost it completely. And I'm not so sure Logan is that far behind him. And that line was classic! Maybe next week's ep? Or else the next one. Probably as we get more storyline about Logan wanting Veronica to help find his mom. Who I am still going back and forth on. With the car thing, and no body, I was thinking like Logan. But now the lighter, oddly enough, has me wondering. Because while it fits with his idea of her escaping and running away, it would also fit escaping life all together. I thought it was part of the running gag of V not staying away from dad's cases. Which would fit with the scenes from next week. But it might have meant to be read that way visually. Lola

Man.. how drunk is Logan? Or is that just grief-inspired asshattery? Who was he chewing out there? The agent? Or Aaron? Or both? Or Aaron subtlely, and the agent publically? I'm thinking all of the above. Mixed with alcohol, a bit of real crazyness and the euphoric belief that his mom isn't dead. Good one. The minute I heard what Veronica was told about YBB and then when they traced the plates to Vegas, I thought - they're married! Of course, I also thought they were the ones faking her kidnapping to get money out of her dad and to punish him. This show does keep surprising me. I mean, I had been a bit suspicious of her younger brother, but then foolishly dismissed it when I figured out the wedding thing.

"In or out, Veronica?" Not of the trip, of the circle of friends. Hard to defy peer pressure. It happens. It sucks, but it happens. Ransom note is bogus.. it's a pre-emptive strike. Dime Bag's gonna lure Bone there to shoot him before Bone takes his prideful rage out on him. I liked how the peer pressure thing was another chance to show us flaws in Veronica. Very real. I really should have moved back to suspecting her brother when the scheme involved the sewers. What with his science project on urban erosion and all. I can be such a sap for jumping on the red herring and running with it 'cuz I'm feeling all clever for spotting that clue. ;D Yola

I think we're supposed to worry about the three big black men. Heh! Yeah, poor guys don't know what hit 'em, did they? ;D

And I loved how at the end his daughter talked about how he didn't have the one guy shot, but he was happy to let people think he did to boost his reputation, not caring what it did to his kids. I know the younger brother did a not good thing (especially 'cuz his mom had to go through being all scared about her child being kidnapped), but I couldn't help cheering for him. ;D It was a nice parallel to Logan's story. Dads that are more concerned about their own status and taking it out on their kids. Lola ETA: Very nice nod to the credits. And wasn't it, oh let's try to remember, um, ME who was just talking about the opening song? ;D Sorry, Lola! I obviusly meant that it was a nice nod to Lola's statements about the opening credits song. ;D

Identity and hiding behind false public images, false identities. Who are you really? Who is really your father? Where has your mother really gone? Who's really responsible for the crime? Lola

She seems like Cordelia Chase without the redeeming qualities.

It was all there, wasn't it? Jeez. Which means that Veronica had sussed it out beforehand.

Lily, by the way...it is beginning to puzzle me very much why she was so loved. She seems like Cordelia Chase without the redeeming qualities. I think she was one of those people who sucked you in because she was so full of life. But we're getting to see more sides to her now and she was certainly messed up in some ways. And certainly a typical snotty Neptune High rich girl in some ways. And probably a good and fun friend in some ways. I wonder if we're getting more views of her because Veronica is opening her eyes more about Lily. Her experiences with losing all her friends and the other changes in her life have made her grow up so much and, I think, given her another look at Lily and herself back then. Judging by tonight, she's not always happy with what she's seeing. Lola
