lalalalala. Not reading. Haven't even seen the ep. Might not get to see it until Monday. sigh. Then I'll do a huge Pattitis run of replying to all of your thoughts. Allison is "turned" for sure tho. Even tho I was helping to "entertain" the bishops, she was up in my room watching VM. Later guys. Sue

Another very good comparison Lola. It did provide a nice parellel. The casting just didn't work for me - why does the science nerd have to be chunky with glasses? If they had not dialed up central casting and ordered such a specific stereotype I would have enjoyed it far more. Never having been a Harry Hamlin fan in the past I think he has struck career renaissance here and is doing a fabulous job. I wonder what's really behind the quitting my careerspeak because I really, really don't buy it. The actor himself doesn't wear glasses: I'd blame the writers or the prop department for that one. But I get what you are talking about. But to me he does look of a type with the guy playing Bone: bulky, more than fat.

I tend to think that his "I'm quitting" stuff is just the emotion of the moment - showing just how upset he is. But with a bit of grandstanding in there too. Of course, I could be totally wrong and this is really some clever plot of his. ;D

But to me he does look of a type with the guy playing Bone: bulky, more than fat. The glasses, yep, very much a sterotype. I think I do agree with you on body type. Both that and some aspects of the character - stubborness, hanging on to your feelings, taking revenge (not violent, but still) seemed to me to be a nice match with dad. Like so many times with fathers and sons (or moms and daughters) they are more alike than they like to admit. And that probably adds to their conflict. Lola

I truly do enjoy the Soulful Spike Society but occasionally I get the feeling I'm just posting into the wind and if you're not part of the club . . . . . But only occasionally! When that happens I usually just let the work demons suck me away.

Man.. how drunk is Logan? Or is that just grief-inspired asshattery? Who was he chewing out there? The agent? Or Aaron? Or both? Or Aaron subtlely, and the agent publically? Huh.. maybe this will be the big sea change in his life. "And now I'm dead" Emotionally? "Free at last" huh. Explains his attitude. And nice to know he came to the same conclusion we all did. And that she left him a note. <snip> Yes - but "Free At Last" could just as easily be a suicide note as a "I'm not really dead" note. Logan isn't going to believe Mom is dead, not without a body. But I'm not sure what we (the viewers) are supposed to believe. I'd be kind of disappointed if she was still alive. Very soap opera-y. In "real life" the circumstances we saw would usually mean the person had jumped and was dead. Every once in a blue moon, it means someone has faked their death. But - what advantage would faking her death bring Lynn? I mean, what advantage over just moving out and filing for divorce?

Who is doing the review this week? Ok - checked the site...must be Spring. I think this one is going to be not so fun to review. Didn't dislike the episode...I always always enjoy Logan on the screen, and all scenes with Veronica and her dad, but surely I wasn't the only one who knew from the beginning that the brother was pulling a scam. Wasn't sure if the daughter was in on it, but there were just way too many dark and sulky looks from the son...big huge clues all over this one. Yes, it is me, and I just sent it in a little while ago. It was kinda fun. I agree "huge clues" all over this one - I think it relates back to what Veronica said about how she could tell Gabrielle, Yolanda's friend, was lying. If you know what to look for, and you look closely, people give themselves away.

Huh.. I hope I wasn't the only one who didn't know that sonny boy was running a scam on his papa. I didn't know.

Lily, by the way...it is beginning to puzzle me very much why she was so loved. She seems like Cordelia Chase without the redeeming qualities. I can't get much of a feel for Lilly, yet. She seems fairly nice and she was very friendly and welcoming to Yolanda . . . until she found out Yolanda kissed Logan, which . . . she reacted immaturely, but heck, she's 16. So - I don't dislike her, or see anything particularly to dislike about her. But I can't say I like her all that much either. We've seen so little of her.

Very interesting comparison Patti and Lola. I had not thought of Lily in that way but it is wonderful the way they are fleshing the character of Lily out. And I love the transparenty effects during those types of scenes. Things I liked: the opening segue - which has already been commented on. Still very nice editing. I loved the Veronica/Wallace hair scene and her I'm not scrawny. Also loved the "crabs" sorority speak scene. But all my love this episode really went to Logan and every single scene he was in. Truly wanted to jump into the television last night during the final scene. His pain was just pulsing through the knock on Veronica's door scene. And I for one liked the continuity of finding out who it was that Logan kissed. As for the actual story -yeah, it was kind of meh. I really didn't care about the brother - think they should have cast someone who could have played those scenes better. But, like everyone else, I don't watch VM for the mystery of the week. Can't wait for AH, Trina, to make her appearance. Agree! Can't wait for AH and watch her scenes with Logan! I agree that Logan is becoming one of the most interesting and well-acted characters on the show. I think AH is going to be on week-after-next.

I think the shock of Lynn's death has him genuinely reeling and he's speaking very rashly there. I doubt he will go through with it.

Amazing acting. I need more hours in the day. I'll be back to read everyone's thoughts when I get cloned, or have a few minutes to spare, whichever comes first.
