Hey, it could have its entertainment value, I suppose. Gotta give the people what they want, baby!

So, Lola and I have the hookup on the next reality show sensation: America's Next Top Model Bites My AssFox would buy it.... Hell, Fox would come up with twists on the theme that even our deranged minds would never think of! ;D So, do we think that the epilepsy would explain Duncan's inability to remember the days right after Lily's murder? Do we think that that could be important to solving the case? I liked how Veronica took the opportunity to re-connect with cute deputy while at the same time making sure another person in the sheriff's office is aware of the discrepencies in the case. Lola

Hell, Fox would come up with twists on the theme that even our deranged minds would never think of! ;D indeed! ;D I dunno. Not familiar with that type of epilepsy. I think it's very possible that HE did it... or perhaps saw Mama Kane doing it, and had a fit as a result. Can stressful stimuli trigger a seizure? True: it would do her well to have an ally there, who actually is a cop, not just whats-her-head, the German chick.

<snip> I think Abel is just so much a nut case that he wants the noteriety and stuff and that was the main way they got him to do it. I mean, I bet we'll also find out about a pay off and stuff. But somehow I think the main motivator was he wants people to think he's important and stuff. <snip> well, someone threatened veronica's mom. i wouldn't be surprised, personally, if threats were also involved with abel. i don't recall the show ever explicitly stating whether he had any loved ones; does anyone else?

Oh, it is so telegraphed that he actualy did it. Or maybe it's being over-telegraphed. Ah. That's why she doesn't beieve her. Sad thing is, she might have been telling the truth about Duncan. Ah!! Brilliant way to blow the interview. Oh! It's deputy cutieboy again.. cool. I thought that he was just gonna be a one-off. Hee!! "Fell for me?" Good that he has a chaperonelette. Uh oh. Chaperone leaving. I think he did it, because NO ONE accused of that kind of thing would EVER have an unchaperoned female student at his house. If he didn't do it, he's too flipping stupid to be a teacher. "...and I don't want you seeing Kid Rock." Hee!!! yeah, I had no doubt about his guilt either. But the little twist at the end with it being a whole different girl - that was nice! The chemistry between Veronica and her dad is SO good. Casting for this show is outstanding, as is the dialogue. "I'd want you on my side." "I'd be there." aww... LOVED the exploding ink when Veronica opened the safe! And they kept me going through the whole episode, changing my mind about whether Logan's mom is dead or alive. Really good episode this week. And next week....ALYSON!! yea!

Very evil to do the song thing. They really got the other girl's voices perfect. You could really feel how they hated that girl. No one is too young to have see reruns of Mission: Impossible. ;D She didn't get the chance to ask - he guessed that she was gonna ask for the file. Poor jaded not-so-innocent-anymore Wallace. yes! the song...really nice touch....lots of them this week-

You know, I'm really liking these stream-of-thought postings. ;D The bit with the safe was Just. Too. Funny. Yeah, she'll tell him where to put that father of the year trophy. I like the as you view it too, except I didn't get to view it along with tonight.

And I was very glad to see the deputy again, and to have Veronica apologize. Also, liked her apology and the subsequent exchange of looks between her and the formerly hated not-victim.

Heck, just one of those loony smiles would have scared me off!

They're doing a nice job with showing Veronica learning from her own mistakes. I like that. She not all-knowing all the time. I think Abel is just so much a nut case that he wants the noteriety and stuff and that was the main way they got him to do it. I mean, I bet we'll also find out about a pay off and stuff. But somehow I think the main motivator was he wants people to think he's important and stuff. If Abel is dying, I'm guessing he was offered big $$ to take the fall- big $$ for his family. Think of it. You are dying. You are worried how your loved ones will manage without you. A very rich person is willing to guarantee that they will be very well taken care of if you confess to a murder. You're dying anyhow . . . I think the "crazy man" thing is all an act. I don't much care for this particular mystery. So far it's making little sense and seems superfluous. If you were going to fake your death, wouldn't using your credit cards be an awfully stupid thing to do? Unless what . . . you planned to reappear fairly quickly . . . you just wanted to cause your husband the pain of it, and didn't mind torturing your son at the same time? But then - we did see Lynn seeming to go along with Aaron beating Logan. She must have left her purse with wallet in the car, or they wouldn't say that her "credit cards were missing." If she did leave them in that convertible, no doubt someone could have simply stolen them.

Speaking of insufficient chaperonage.... That would be useful to fold oneself up so tiny, for things like that. Huh. Able Koontz? Nice quickchange dodge. Because you banged her like a cheap gong, perhaps? Clemmons sees something might be up with her.... Ohhhhhh boy. Well, she had his cellphone to use....how did she get his cellphone away from him? YEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!! CREEPY GUY!! She must have some doubts. huh... yep, that's the Stones... black silk sheets... Type IV epilepsy? I've not heard of that one before. Huh. Carrie's friend from the bathroom. Good on you, Veronica. Owning up to your mistakes. Huh. Dumped body. Maybe a sack of potatos or some such? Good on Eli taking care of Logan like that. Huh! I'd have thought that Echolls would have cancelled those cards. Made peace with dad, and dad didn't gloat. Good. For both of them. Oh! Abel's terminal, I'll bet.. And so he is. I wonder what they did to convince him to take the fall "Type 4 (generalized spikes and waves) occurred more often both in probands with epilepsy and their siblings than the respective controls. Thus, the coincidence of photosensitivity will appear as higher if only a PPR [photoparoxysmal response] with generalized spikes and waves is considered to be indicative of photosensitivity." Indeed it does exist...seems to be genetic and is the type of epilepsy that is sensitive to light, ie, if the person with epilepsy is exposed to flashing lights, etc, that can trigger a seizure.

I am thinking this, too. *Nods vigorously* I didn't like that, myself: if the credit cards were missing, wouldn't the accountant take care of cancelling them? Unless Logan was the one that was supposed to be doing the credit-card cancellation, and Lynn knew this.. or her wallet was left at home, away from the crime scene where Logan would have looked at it before the cops did. I dunno. Got to figure out a way to make me not cuss about the uncancelled cards.

Also, liked her apology and the subsequent exchange of looks between her and the formerly hated not-victim. I don't think there is any such thing as an epileptic rage...in the middle of a seizure, it is really difficult to do anything beyond having the seizure, much less kill your sister. ETA: There are a lot of reasons that Duncan would have hid that fact...for a long time (and still to some people today), epilepsy is something to be ashamed of...I can imagine that in the Kane family, they would have told Duncan to keep that to himself. It could also be the reason for the breakup; all his mom would have to do is say to Duncan, "Do you want her (and everybody) to find out about your illness?"
