Intereesting title..
And that's a twist I didn't expect. Or, wouldn't have.
Wonder what the title refers to: I'm a big "Archie" fan.

RIVERDALE?! Huh. I remember this comic episode from the archie books, only it was Jughead's dog Hot Dog and the goat. So this is the next day after the dance... huh.. ETA: Oh! Flashback!! I woke up from a nap a minute into things, so that's why I'm not fully up to speed yet.. Oh! Okay, this is what we missed before.. Lianne. Wow.. Mom was boffing Jake at the time of the murder? "Full armor"? I'd thought that Lianne was being watched by the head of security from Kane enterprises...

What's wrong with taking a hot cousin to the prom? Provided she's not a first cousin.. Hee!!! He's the bookie!!! AWESOME!! Veronica, mom's gonna get the DTs.. let her get something to drink, it will calm her down. Wow, she IS Jake's bio daughter.. oh, good, there's an element of doubt.. aw, it's Officer Cutiepants!!! Or, "Officer I'm-gonna-so-get-my-tuchus-fired". He'd only risk it if he had an in in the game for them to lose it. Wallace, you are in for a bad time.. Polish hookers? And wow, Wallace is the goatnapper!! Ew!!! That van is never gonna be the same... I figured the meat was a sham. Very few butchers will butch an animal you bring in like that...

Oh, wow. That's a new low for a pepsi commercial.
Perhaps I am just bothered because the ending of Spartacus moved me a great deal.

"Act of terrorism" my ass..
Oh, boy. The whack-a-loon kidnapped the bird and liberated it.
Hee!! on the "Carrie" reference....
I think momma Kane did it: insane fury and dissapointment in her daughter or something.
Hee!! she's the snickerdoodle bandit!! That's so sweet that it almost nauseates me in a cheerful happy way.....
"Isn't that the bedrock upon which our friendship is founded?"
She's gonna bug Wiedaman? Huh.
So Jake was protecting Celeste?
Huh... Keith doesn't oppose...
How does she know Leo on a first-name basis?
And that's gonna be awkward.....
What horrible things was she screaming??
THINK, Lianne!!!
Awww.. that's sweet.
"You eat eggs, you might as well eat baby" Huh.
God, I HATE people like that.
freaking insane zealots..

It's a great commentary on how misleading this show is. First you think they're going one way, and then they end up another. I don't get the whole thing about the betting. Is the game fixed?

Huh, so he's NOT the bookie in question.. but I'll bet he knows who is.
Oh, Wallace, play the game.
"It ain't worth Polly's life" Okay....
She's (Meg) the "Betty" to Veronica's Veronica... with Duncan as the Archie. And Logan as the Reggie. Wallace is the Jughead.
Numbered sneakers?
Huh.
So he's the bookie....
Good thing he's not a starter, ain't it?
Did she just slap Wallace's ass?

I don't get the whole thing about the betting. Is the game fixed? It WAS, if Wallace didn't play. A bookie tries to lay his bets so that no matter who wins, he doesn't have to pay money out: generally in the form of competing odds. A favored team will have less of a payout if you bet on it and they win. A less-favored team, if you bet on it, will generally have better odds and a higher payout: a bookie likes to accept bets on both teams to keep thigs covered. What dude was doing was only taking bets on Neptune to win, at very good odds: as Deputy Cutiepants pointed out, one doesn't do it.. And thanks for the compliment!

I should've guessed the Polly snatcher was - since Wallace was so willing to give up his spot for the bird to the one guy who was behind it all. Wallace - "sweetness and purity of spirit." I really like that. Well, we got a lot of answers tonight, and a few more questions. I missed who the rubber tree was delivered to. I hope Veronica's gets her money's worth by paying for her mom's rehabilitation. (hit me - I'm a cynic) Veronica just can't help thinking the worst of Weevil, and although he's no angel, he's also not evil. I was glad to see Veronica's friend (name?) try to reconnect with Veronica. "Maybe we can have our own circle without them." I hope they do. V needs an estrogen friend to talk to.

The rubber plant was delivered to the secretary of the head of security of Kane software. He had Veronica's house bugged. She was aware of that, and used it to flush Wiedaman out of the bushes on who is being payed for Abel's confession.
