Huh. staying at Wallace's place. REALLY dissaproving of dad. Why the hell would anyone drive to Twentyninepalms to study? and that's the lousiest "wallace" I've ever heard. **snicker** I'm getting rather fond of the sly humor of Piz. Like the bit about the guitar and "gently weep". ;D I have to try and remember these titles and what not! **says "RA, RA, RA" in effort to get it to stick**

OK, I'm forgetting where Veronica was the night before. If Veronica knew about the crash, I think she'd be a little kinder to Keith. Maybe. But she's in a place right now where I don't think she's too disposed to be kinder to anyone. **gently pets poor head-achey brain of Liz**

At least I got this episode recorded, so I can watch it when I'm non-headachey.

So Laura's gonna be on it.. Leaving Meryl in Sully's room? "Planning a perfect murder" Huh. Why the hell should she be so dissapointed that he's boffing the dean's wife? he radiated "asshole" from the moment I saw him. #rofl1# Yeah. And basically, why care what or who he's doing? Really amazing opportunity. She should have taken it. Or at least more strongly considered it. Now, with all the hindsight, I'm guessing it was a "did you tell your girlfriend that we're studying for a few hours tonight and see if she wants to hang with us or do something else" message that she left for him. ;D Hindsight. Always 20/20 with me.

This is freaky. I wonder if Meryl would have been OK if Veronica had never gone in at all. Vinnie to the rescue. What really happened to Sully. Sounds like the kind of thing that could have happened to Logan or his cronies Shouldn't Keith just tell Harmony about the pictures.Yep, here it is. Good girl, Veronica. That's what panic buttons are for. Started with the clippers but didn't finish. Didn't even try to rape her though. So Keith and Logan have faults, but in the end they come through. I sincerely don't think that he's stopping dating her just because of the blackmail. I think it's the fact that his judgemental-as-hell daughter actually forced him to look at things from the outside of things, made him look at it a little more objectively according to his own moral standards. Oh, but yeah, it would be a good idea for him to tell her that her husband suspects her of cheating on him. Of course, I still suspect Harmony's husband of cheating on HER, and trying to screw with harmony's head with the lack of affection and attention... cheating on her part means less or no alimony?

Oh, OK, I think I get it now. Wasn't that hard. Scarlet Rayes Plan the perfect murder I wonder if this will somehow factor into solving the mystery? Good question. I think I'd be very . . . not my business, not my concern, not something for me to have an opinion on. You clever thing you!!! Of course, Logan and dad not being able to contact her was because she was avoiding them. I guess kind of representing a more . . . simple way of looking at romance? To contrast with Veronica's more jaded perspective and to show us that the simple (Occam's razor) approach to a relationship can also mean that things are fine - that there's not always a problem?

"No one willing to spoon you?" "LOGAN has good reason to keep it to himself"? The dean owes the bookie money? Hmm. I also found this significant. The human tripod line is sooooo classic Vinnie. ;D

They were in Tiajuana. Mercer burned the hotel down!! Orange Whip! Hee! Bringing up Lianne and Jake. BURN!!! Yeah, that was . . . rather a low blow. Ouch! Too funny!!!! Loved that line. ;D I was actually assuming he'd been mugged by the Fitzpatricks. Frankly, I was expecting a more . . . icky resolution to his story. I was afraid they'd find him in a dumpster or something.

See, people tend to live down to your lowest expectations, if that's what you have. The reverse is supposed to be true, as well, that they live up to your highest expectations if that's what you have.
Not sure where I'm going with, except that these adages don't always apply to Logan. Which is what makes him so interesting.

Which makes me think that the missing boyfriend is not just drunkenly running from the girlfriend and messing around. I'm afraid the Fitzpatricks have his cell because of a less nice reason. me, too. yeah, it really is. It was an ouchy episode. Good one! Actually a very good one. But ouchy to watch sometimes.

aaah! my station's feed shorted out when lamb was coming up to meryl in the tank. what happened? ETA i missed from partway through the lamb-meryl scene till partway through the last keith-harmony scene. Um. Lamb lets Meryl see the boyfriend and he recognises her and they get smoochy. Lamb yells at them and then sends them both off to the hospital. And Veronica . . . doesn't look happy. The scene with Harmony and Keith was very well done, very sad though. You could really feel they cared so much about each other and yet, Keith couldn't say yes to staying involved.

aaah! my station's feed shorted out when lamb was coming up to meryl in the tank. what happened? It dawned on Veronica that she didn't have faith in the men in her life. She went to get food and the food court, left her drink unattended to exchange her plate and ended up being slipped a rufie, while listening to voice mail from Logan and her dad. Keith decided not to run away with Harmony. Veronica crazily left the food court in a drugged stated and was about to be attacked while getting in her car, when she pushed the alarm button and Logan, who had been looking for her (and got the impression she was sleeping with Piz) was happening by and heard the alarm. He got there just before the rapist could do anything but begin the shaving of her head. He took her to dad and they gave her something to counteract the drug. Thank you!! Much better summing up than I could have done. I'm still going over all the events in my head. Whew!!! Very good but very ouchy ep!

Workin's both sides, Vinnie? That's . . . probably not safe. and another example of a man who might not be acting as sleazily as he's assumed to be. yeah! it could be that, or it could be that somebody (maybe the rapist, maybe someone else) wants people to assume that veronica had been raped. maybe that's what really happened to claire? or maybe it's claire or a friend of hers getting back at veronica? or ... ? Excellent point about Vinnie being another example of assumptions about a man! Oooh, so maybe it wasn't the original rapist that went after Veronica?

One more point of info brought up this evening--the RA has keys to everyone's room.
Which of course could allow him to plant date rape drugs and such...
Just an idea.
