//I definitely do not want to see C/A and not because I'm a B/A 'shipper. I just don't buy those two (C/A) together AT ALL!! They had such a great brother/sister type of relationship - there are too few quality platonic friendships on TV and this WAS one of them. Not everyone has to be paired off. Please, please no more C/A - I want to get back to their earlier friendship!//
I'm a B/A shipper too, but my disinterest in seeing Angel and Cordelia pair isn't about Buffy per se. You hit the nail on the head -- they were so brother-sister in the early stages before the writers went in this direction. I loved that about them.
And helllooooo -- anybody remember a pesky Gypsy curse all about a moment of happiness? The curse didn't say "moment of happiness, but only with Buffy Anne Summers, vampire slayer". If Angel loves Cordelia, and sleeps with Cordelia, he could potentially lose his soul again. Darla was different -- that was sex, so it didn't totally envelop him the way Buffy did. When it's with the right person, I challenge anyone to think about anything other than the moment and just how wonderful it feels to be enraptured with the person you love. It is a moment of pure happiness. And it will happen with Cordelia, too.

Spike and Faith have great chemistry, (but then JM could have chemistry with a stump). I confess I also find too much Faith annoying. I guess just because she's doing a pilot doesn't mean it will get bought.
Maybe JW could just roll it all together and have Vampire Detectives in Space.

//I vote for Angel with Electro Girl. She could jump start his heart every once and awhile for fun.
I like Lyla and she and Wesley were much better together than any Angel/Lilah stuff.
It's too bad Jasmine didn't actually eat Cordelia. //
I like Electro Girl -- Gwen Raiden is her name -- too. And pre-chip in her back, she and Angel would have been an interesting pair. He couldn't touch her because he'd be afraid of the curse, she wouldn't hold it against him because she can't be touched anyway.
Gwen is supposed to be back more. I have a friend who filmed a couple of scenes as Gwen's butler, but looks as if they got cut because I haven't seen her in any scenes. Gwen has mentioned her though, so the character does exist. I'm hoping for Jessica's sake (my friend) they do bring Gwen back so Jess can get some more exposure.
I love Lilah. I miss Lesley because those two had an interesting dynamic together, better than Lilah and Gavin. I'm not needing Lilah involved with any of the Fang Gang guys -- she's a baddie. Although it might make for an interesting seasonal arc if Spike were to show up, think Lilah is a good person, get involved with Lilah for a while, battle Angel as a result, and then perhaps join Angel Investigations after coming to realize Lilah and Wolfram & Hart are really evil.
Here's to hoping that when Cordelia wakes up, she reverts back to being her 18-year-old self, not unlike she was in Spin The Bottle.

No argument about James' ability to play off of anyone, but Spike and Faith are just two characters that because of their rebelous nature, you would just sort of expect to fall in together. And they did. Only pairing that was stronger was the chemistry between Willow and Fred; both of those actresses have great chemistry with stumps as well, but together, it was electric. Willow and Fred was the greatest 'ship that never was.

I thought there was a female butler in one scene but maybe I'm imagining it.

I think on a show like Buffy or Angel, Faith could end up being like Lorne -- after a while, we'd start asking ourselves why is she even here? There's just too much of a vagabond spirit in Faith to believe she'd stay in one place for very long.
Pair her with someone equally vagabond, like Spike and put them on the open road, that's a show I'd watch.
And I think Lorne getting his own series might be interesting. He's the host of a variety show, about demons. It could be sort of a demonic Larry Sanders Show with the show and the background stuff all in one.

Did I miss it!? Did I blink and miss Jess' big scene? Dammit.
I don't recall there being any episodes where we went to Gwen's apartment except for the one where they put Manny in the safe and everyone was guarding him. In that episode, Gwen said her butler was already in Tahiti waiting for her. Was there another episode where we went to Gwen's place and I missed that part?

A fan fiction possibility. I'm sure it's out there somewhere already.

I wouldn't be surprised.
I did a search the other day and was surprised by all the fanfic crossing BtVS with Highlander: The Series (and even one crossing Buffy with Highlander: The Raven). Got me thinking, that could make for an interesting theatrical movie -- Buffy Summers meets Duncan MacLeod. Duncan could have a run-in with Angel and remember him from his Angelus days. Giles and Wesley could have an interesting time discussing what it means to be a watcher with Joe Dawson. Could be fun.
Wonder if an immortal can be turned into a vampire.

If you find something, let me know which ep. I'll try to download it from Kazaa, and see if I can compress enough that I might even be able to e-mail it Jess. She was possibly on Angel, but she's never watched an episode, so even she's not sure if she's been on.

There was a Highlander with a vampire. I never saw it and was sorry I missed it. Duncan Macleod and Spike would be interesting. Andrian Paul hasn't done anything even half way decent since Highlander. He was really good too.

I just saw one of those "Buffy Bites" on FX (I'm watching Batman and Robin right now) and it was the one where the cast is talking about how they're all friends, blah blah blah. I started thinking, "Only three more episodes EVER!! What am I going to do?!?! I won't get to see Spike or Buffy or Willow or Giles or Xander together again. WAAHHHH!!!!" Someone post something really funny to snap me out of my funk. PLEASE!!!! -L
